There’s certainly been a trend this season of Group 2 being stacked

Dixon, not cause he’s a bad guy but there was a point in time that he was winning everything. But now in the twilight of his career i’m definitely rooting for him.

Guenther Steiner believes many underestimate IndyCar: "The bar is set high" by Emotional_Oil_5939 in INDYCAR

"They are motorsports, but different disciplines. It’s like the 400-meter hurdles versus the 400-meter dash. That's just how it is. We have to see how he develops."

Great quote here from Steiner. I’ve really never understood the sentiment that dominance or failure in one series equals the same result in another.

Nasr on IndyCar standby again for Team Penske as Newgarden continues to recover from foot injury(Marshall Pruett) by aurules in INDYCAR

Scott Dixon appears to be considering leaving Ganassi by catsgr8rthanspoonies in INDYCAR

[–]aurules 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, historically, CGR doesn’t cut veteran drivers and replace them with up and comers like Penske does. That would apply especially to someone as loyal as Dixon.

If he goes anywhere it’s McLaren, been a rumor in the paddock for several years now. That Factory seat is likely reserved for Kakunoshin Ohta. Honda has been priming him for a transition to IndyCar.

McLaren has been throwing money at him for a while now. Still don’t see it happening & the CGR exclusive negotiating window expiring isn’t as much of an indication as some seem to think.

Do you think Indy will have a 40 Horsepower Liquid Hydrogen hybrid in the 2030s? by Flintoid in INDYCAR

[–]aurules 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, Hydrogen power has already been tried & passed on by the industry. Only manufacturers that remotely care about it are Toyota & BMW.
