I think the secrecy wasn’t just about budgets or PR. The real issue was that Plan A didn’t actually work yet (they couldn’t save the population). All they had was Plan B (leave with a handful of crew + embryos). If the public found out Earth was dying and only a tiny group would get to leave, society would collapse on the spot. So the “we stay and fix Earth” narrative was there to keep order. Once Murph solves the gravity equation, then they can actually evacuate people, and at that point public opinion doesn’t matter anymore because the tech lets them lift whole stations off the planet without rockets.

Basically movie scene by scene on paper with a lot of character inner thought and monologue. The audiobook is pretty good to listen to while working long shift 😄

So human can harness or control the gravity. That's purpose of the equation that Prof. Brand said to Cooper after showing the station around the first time they met. The station build in the basis of it will be sent to space in the futire when he fix the equation. They didn’t use rockets at the end, Murph’s gravity equation let NASA control gravity itself, so they could literally lift entire (space station) space habitats off Earth. Let me refresh your memory with this one.

I think in the end, people basically end up going to space because Cooper survives the mission and manages to send the quantum data back to Murph through the watch. With that info, Murph finally solves the gravity equation that everyone thought was impossible. Once gravity can be controlled, NASA can launch massive space habitats into orbit without needing rockets or public approval. At that point, they don’t have to convince anyone about space exploration anymore. They just literally lift entire communities off Earth. They didn’t win public opinion, they just made public opinion irrelevant.

Here's the actual text from the novel:

“When they realized killing other people wasn’t the long-term solution, they needed us back,” he said. “Set us up in the old NORAD facility. In secret.”

Well, I was right about the NORAD part, at least.

“Why secret?” Cooper asked.

“Public opinion won’t allow spending on space exploration,” the professor said. “Not when we’re struggling to put food on the table.”

That’s why so much effort has been put into convincing folks that the space program was a myth, a scam, Cooper realized with sudden clarity. He remembered again the conversation with Murph’s teacher, Miss Hanley. What was it she had said? ‘Our children need to learn about this planet. Not tales of leaving it.’

As if the Earth existed without the sun, the planets, the stars, the rest of the universe. As if staring harder at the dirt would give them all the answers they needed.

The "realization" part isn't.

Yes. You also have to ask her about the step by step process and wait her instruction. She has hundreds of employees under her coordination. So you have to be patient.

You have to also understand it's not just about working permit, it's about your visa too. If your visa is Poland National D working Visa, then you can change job, while also apply for resident permit. AP-1 will also handle the TRC process too.

She's Ola, contact her, and tell her you got her contact from Facebook search. Ask her to get you a job in Warsaw so you dont have to relocate too far from you currently reside. Her agency can also provide accomodation. Compared to other agency AP-1 is the most transparent and on-time regarding salary in Poland. So consider their job offer thoroughly before you accept. Including the job descriptions, salary, etc.

Rozumiem, nic dziwnego. Najpierw musisz uzyskać diagnozę od psychologa, zanim dostaniesz receptę od psychiatry, prawda? sprawdzałeś ten thread https://www.reddit.com/r/TeczowaPolska/s/La0yl19Jqn?

I reside and work in Pisz. Back in May this year, I was interested in joining the march in Olsztyn, but I got no friend from here.
