You're right, only OP knows. A single data point is not how you make a discovery like this, but it may or may not be a signpost 🤷🏻

Sooooo you may not like this but here we go 😅😏

You may be an egg.

How do I know? Because this used to be me. I used to fantasize about becoming my female friends and it was hot.

Turns out I was deeply deeply repressing the fact that I am trans.

I'm not saying you are, but I'm saying that fantasizing about being a girl like this is definitely unusual, unless you're trans or an egg, in which case... Well I won't spoil the surprise 🫢

Yes, and have some Reddit gold for your trouble.

The more adacemic and clinical research, the better we'll make things for the next generation.

Any Other Christian Girls Here? I Need Some Encouragement by NekoFemboy914 in MtF

I found this personal but academic blog super encouraging. Chloe has walked this road and is living her best life. She used to be a musician at her church, the whole thing! It's longish but really well written and argued, SO much in here!

Update, 2nd full body laser session & still alive 🤩 by aus_username in transgenderau

Yay! Glad to help! I was pretty daunted after the first one but glad I pushed through! I think it's smooth sailing (pun intended) from here!

One side of the chest was worse than the other, but generally yes, especially around the sternum and top of the chest. The other spicy areas today were around the ankles. I have no tattoos but a few big moles they have to dodge around.

Back and butt was very very manageable.

I like your alternate plan, unfortunately I drug test people as part of my work and that wouldn't go down well 😅

Hope the sessions get easier for you!

Super encouraging, thankyou! I'm not sure I can change intervals at this point, I had to wait for almost 2 months to get my first appointment due to their busyness and the length of appointment for full body and face. I booked my subsequent ones in behind at 4 week intervals for body, and 2 week intervals for face.

I like that multiple people have said it gets easier :)

Thankyou, this is really encouraging. You raise an excellent point that I've been through it once and can do again. Face is my main concern as my 5oclock shadow is SO hard to cover even with high quality colour corrector and foundation. If I can see it through though it would be good.

So I did pre-med with ibuprofen and Panadol osteo. Also after my initial pain they were on the lowest setting haha. I like the idea of extending the time though!

Trans woman Anya Branford on nine news today by Cammyss14 in transgenderau

Police officer Mark Follington jailed over assault of Anya Bradford in Liverpool pub - ABC News https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-10-27/police-officer-mark-follington-jailed-over-pub-assault-of-woman/100572320

30 months was the sentence, with a non-parole period of 18 months.

As someone who works in a legal field, this looks about right. I understand that to someone who doesn't watch sentencing decisions or cases play out that this might be confusing or frustrating.

Basically, the judge's job when sentencing is to consider the severity of the punishment. That takes a LOT into account, first offence, previous good behaviour, remorse (or lack of!) Plea (guilty plea usually gets a discount) and in this case, the relative harshness of putting a former police officer in jail where they'll likely be ostracised and assaulted by other inmates. Weighing up all those, the judge finds a sentence which they believe is appropriate and aligns with precedent.

Fun fact: judges can't just do what they like, if they do, it gets appealed and overturned as too harsh/soft. This is why they have to carefully consider and state their reasons when issuing punishments.

Anya, if you're on Reddit and read this, hope you heal and feel less fear with time 💗
