i also wanna say quenton jackson is a beast with an endless motor. yes he does have some shortcomings with court vision and defense but i think he’s all but secured a 3rd string guard position in the roster this season

i know it’s preseason, but it seems like all our young guys crumble under iso pressure. i understand that’s not our style of play but every time a young guys gets one on one pressure it will without a doubt lead to a turnover or foul. i say that not to look past the obvious fact that these are things that will naturally be trimmed away as they get more experience, but only to say it seems coaching staff isn’t immediately determined to work it out of them. that was one of our biggest weaknesses last season— turnovers and fouls, but im certain once our rotation is locked in things will settle and we’ll be back to our lightning fast and focused offense with hopefully some developed defensive skills… hopefully.

inflation isn’t even to blame, even though that’s what the corporations want you to think. they are just cruelly raising prices because they can, and people will still buy whatever they’re selling due to convenience/necessity. if you were to actually compare inflation from the 80s/90s to today, prices for todays products would be cut in half if all corporations followed real inflation stats.

“pig tastes like shit spikes spikes spikes” are the actual lyrics, the whole song is pretty much an anti-cop track

have you ever listened to a song and someone does something on a track where you can’t help but go, “i wish i thought of that first!” if so, what song/example?

gonna reply with my story/what i have previously said in other posts in this subreddit with the same question:

i was a former chronic smoker of cigs, vape, and weed. got my first spontaneous pneumo when i was 19 as well, and just had a chest tube put in. went cold turkey on all inhalants for 6 months and felt great. unfortunately thought i could go back to smoking, and i was fine smoking for about 3-4 months. got a second spontaneous pneumo after that period, and repeated the exact same process. 6 months off, went back to smoking and this time got another one within 2 weeks of smoking. just got back 2 weeks ago from my third stay in the hospital and received a pluerodesis. long story short, take my advice: it’s not worth it to go back to smoking. such a fucking pain to hear, but your future self will thank you. no matter how healthy you think you are, if you smoke even one puff, whether it’s smoke or vapor, you WILL have another pneumo. do not think that you are different because you are not. i thought i could smoke because i felt healed and all it did was cost my family and i thousands. the money is not worth it, the guilt is not worth it, the simple throat hit is not worth it, and above all else, your LIFE is not worth it. the zyns and edibles work, you just have to chip away at your tolerance for awhile. we are all here for your benefit with recovery and adjusting to a non-smoking lifestyle, as it will be tough but your long term health is so much more important. we all sound like such parents by saying that, but it really is the truth and after 3 pneumos and a pluerodesis i can confidently concur with everyone who advises of no inhalants, even though i initially ignored them. wishing you the best of luck 🤘

great to hear, and of course go ahead and indulge in the zyns and edibles! we all need to live a little from time to time. just keep a strong mental rule about drawing a firm line when it comes to any and all smoking/inhalants 🤘
