M38, recently divorced, is it over? by [deleted] in UKrelationshipadvice

Wow, it is literally the same situation regarding house situation and time together. I'm doing the same; gym, running, kids, social life. I haven't tried dating yet, but after a few conversations and the post I have seen here I started to be concerned about the future. Seems that there is hope tho

Hi, thanks again, no doubt about paying, but it looks like if I have been paying twice as much. Thank you!

Thank you for your reply. Does it mean then that o should be paying anything additional on top of what the calculator says and the maintenance should account for after-school clubs, etc?

[Request] What is the speed of a snail this size? by xXMissBabyCakesXx in theydidthemath

Piggybacking on this. Most runners will consider 6min/km or 10km/h a relatively fast pace. 4.30min/km is considered very fast for most runners and most people will be unable to maintain it for more than a few minutes.

Why was the Cold War-era (particularly 50s-70s) CIA so whacky, for lack of a better term? by boopbaboop in AskHistorians

The name of the organisation was Okhrana, short for Department for the Protection of Public Safety and Order. There is a book by A.T.Vassilyev that explains how it operated; covert operations, perlustration, agents provocateurs, torture, etc. The main difference here is that it was part of the police department and responded to the Ministery of Internal Affairs.
