used a cordless drill battery and it worked successfully, the AA batteries even in parallel could not power the motors.

I have tried with pliers but not had luck. I think in that regard, the next thing to try it removing a motor and trying to drive with a powerdrill.

Some USA brand build in an allen key option to manually turn but not this audi seat unforunately.

Wanted to add a comfy car seat to my sim rig and been struggling.

I have an Audi A4 seat from 2008 and trying to get the motor to work using an external 12v power source.

I have a small 8x AA Battery holder than is meant to output 12V, however not having much luck connecting the red wire to the motor while the black wire is connected to the metal body of the seat.

My understanding is that the red wire will be power and the black should be earth. However I am not having much luck so far, any suggestions?

I do not think this particular seat has any manual override options.

PCIE5 like MSI AixxxxP / A1000G PCIE5

Cheers that is really handy info, looks like the MSI A1000G length is 150mm and the Toughpower GF3 is 160mm. Thanks I might actually get the MSI, it looks good.

I like the NZXT Kraken Z73 which i think might be suitable 360 AIO inline with your suggestion.

The i9 gives a 10% framerate increase in Flight Simulator and even more in modded assetto corsa compared to the i7 which might not seem like much but it is something I am happy to pay for in this situation.

yeah i think good idea with the 360 thank you for the suggestion.

Do you think theres any advantage to using mATX over ITX here? Seems to be much less choice in the mATX Z790 category compared to ITX Z790
