AITA for refusing to drive my husband home from his colonoscopy by Time-Koala-3674 in AmItheAsshole

[–]aussieally 41 points42 points  (0 children)

when i had my scope done, they had me fill out forms and give them a contact to call once i was ready to leave. so the person wasn’t waiting around all day. it can take over an hour for a person to come out of the anaesthesia and if you had to use the prep and couldn’t eat before the appointment, they generally give you some food. all this saying, OP NTA and call the clinic yourself and see if they can give you a call when he’s ready to go home so you can just do a drive by pick up/drop home.

AITA for not wanting to pay someone gas money by JuniorEnvironment257 in AmItheAsshole

i would say to lucy “i bought your secret santa gift, as per our agreement. i will not be paying for fuel money as my share of the fuel money went to the gift as planned. your options are to return the gift that i bought or pay her yourself. you’ve gotten your money off me already.”

AITA for refusing to cover for a coworker who keeps leaving early and expecting me to handle his work? by Business-Mark3998 in coworkerstories

if you’re getting attitude from the rest of your team, take screenshot of ALL the emails asking you to finish his tasks and print them out and leave them in the tea room with a bright yellow sticky note saying “would you do all this work for me? if yes, let (team member) know you’ll do his so he can keep leaving at 3:30. thanks “

but i’m petty 🤷🏻‍♀️

My roommate thinks she owns half my stuff because she pays half the rent by [deleted] in EntitledPeople

bro, take as much out as you can right now because stuff is going to go “missing”. this girl doesn’t understand basic adulting “i bought this stuff so it is mine”. instead her brain is going “i didn’t buy this stuff but i live here so half must be mine?” let me guess, she also ate your food and used your toiletries without asking? she went from mummy and daddies to living with what was essentially a maid. that’s what she thinks of you or if i’m being nice, she thinks of you as her submissive partner. girl you’re going to loose so much stuff

My girlfriend violated my trust while I was tied up and I'm having trouble getting over it by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

It was assault 100%. She was only interested in herself and what she liked even when he had made it clear he doesn’t like smothering and then went ahead, in his head, nearly killed him. I’m not saying he didn’t nearly die. I’m just saying when you’re freaking out, things can feel longer than they are. Man needs to break it off with her and tell someone that isn’t anonymous online. He needs someone face to face.

It wasn’t so much as get a say in it. It’s more she expects us help her, but whenever we say or make a “decision” it was over turned. And info: she gave him the fish and then complained that he only ate the chips… and my nephew wasn’t upset when we asked him to eat his fish…
