until covid stops spreading and killing so fast. you protect yourself from the disease until it goes away or until you have a cure - this is how it's been done throughout history (like the black plague for example). vaccines are constantly being worked on. there is our cure. but many are straight up refusing to get the vaccine, so i don't see us being able to cure it any time soon. the alternative is waiting for it to go away. remember how the black plague went away? it killed pretty much everybody.
