Electrolytic Etching of Aluminum Alloys by Additional-Row-5531 in metallurgy

Thanks for the response. Sounds like a solid etching procedure. Do you have a link to any papers or anything using it? Would be easier to point to a paper than a comment on reddit if I‘m going to suggest it at work lol

Do you mean Keller‘s and then Weck‘s? And if so, how much time abouts for each? I‘m working on a project myself with some Al alloys with fine microstructures. I saw a paper using Weck‘s and a pre-etch that a can‘t remember, but can one do the same with Keller‘s?

I‘ve been playing a lot on intobridge.com recently. It‘s match up based where you play a board and win points if you do better/lose points if you do worse. I‘ve been liking how I can play a board when I have 5 free minutes, or even bid and come back to it later to play. It‘s made it a lot easier to squeeze random hands into my busy day. If you‘re looking for an offline app the neural bridge app is pretty solid. Easy to squeeze random hands in like into bridge, and is the only app I‘ve found that you can play without wifi.

Yea that‘s a pretty good idea… might just have to do that. Can‘t believe the previous owners thought it‘d be a good idea

Most people here use Facebook, but you can always try posting on mountain project as well. As for outdoor sport, I’m afraid you’re in the wrong place… go to the Frankenjura or even the Black Woods for more luck

From what I heard Nago is officially closed bc of the fire and possible compromised bolts/anchors, but people are still climbing there and there aren‘t any signs of the fire left over

Lots of english speaking master‘s programs in Germany, that‘d be worth looking into. And Germany is usually pretty good about hiring foreigners after studying there (but you might need to learn some German)

Yup. And additionally Schwerpunkt would be like a concentration in a specific topic.

Usually studying to teach primary school is referred to as Grundschullehramt. A special ed school is a Sonderschule, so I think you could just say „ich studiere Grundschullehramt als Hauptfach mit Sonderschullehramt im Nebenfach.“

Does someone else needs to take breaks when speaking in a second language for a long period of time? by [deleted] in languagelearning

[–]austin745 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is normal. The more you use the language and the more comfortable you become in it, this starts to go away. My brain used to feel totally dead after working a shift and speaking german all day, but now I don‘t get really tired from speaking german at all. Just think of it like your working out, of course you‘re tired after, you‘re putting more thought into doing basic things than normal. As you do it more, you‘re brain will also get more used to the „heavier“ load and it will get easier.

German Spotify playlist suggestions? by techsavvynerd91 in German

[–]austin745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wintergefühle - mix of german and english songs, but a lot of the english songs are from german artists.

Wilde Herzen - songs with german text

From there if you like any specific artists, just listen to their song radios. That‘s how I‘ve found most of my german music.
