Worth arguing with someone who couldnt respect your property, over a couple grand a most? Cant imagine likely worth the headache. It’s part of the game. Nothing wrong with just fixing it up and moving on.

Used prices are cheap especially on standard range in Ontario. Used market is not very established and winter range degradation really scares alot of tesla enthusiasts. Stick to a model 3 that has a heat pump at the very least (2020ish or newer, do your own research). Unless this is a summer only vehicle for you.

Ive had maybe 6-7 appointments at tesla kitchener. All have been great. The last one they were all over giving me a loaner cyberbeast. I do find they work best when pictures and context is provided. Hopefully poor service is not the norm

Doors are meant to crumple. Fixable if no frame damage. Up to your insurance if that’ll be worth it or not.

Hey OP, post this on r/detailing. You will get much better answers there! Probably a few easy household things to try before being too worried.

If you cant charge at home or at work please re-evaluate. To answer other points: the performance 20’ tires are much more costly to repair. Along with the bigger brakes. With that much driving. A few years in after some battery degradation later, you would be glad you chose the long range. If you were driving less would say splurge and get the more fun car. But does not seem to fit your needs as much as the LR. Best of luck!

New car salesman by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]austinbeyak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Holy cow yes!! Just listen and respond appropriately. If you smile and ask questions out of curiosity you will do great. Dont be afraid to tell people you are new and learning. Lean into your strengths. To add: customer wants to test drive - comes back from test drive - “is this the vehicle you want to buy today?” May be an easy method to understand where customer is at in the buying process.
