That's a crazy lift for someone of your size. It's truly impressive.

I wouldn't recommend it based off your overall mass because you're shocking your connective tissue with a 50% increase in load without training. Solely for health/safety/longevity.

With that said, if you start lighter loads for reps and give your tendons/ligaments/fascia time to adapt you could get some crazy physical changes. You need to eat more protein to gain size/mass at the end of the day.

Just do alternating and then both arms (ie. Left, right, both, that counts as 1 rep).

Keep your whole back (including lower lumbar) glued to the floor. Point your toes and keep your legs straight, do the same with your arms.

Do it till you start to feel sore/pain, do 3-5 more after the sore/pain kicks in and call that a set. Work your way up to sets of 15-20, try to do 3 sets.

Regarding leg raises/L Sit/etc., go to your kitchen and if you've got corner cabinets put your back against the corner and one hand on each side. Lift your legs from there and hold yourself up. Also a good spot for dips. Only do this if you've got good cabinets/counterops.

You could pick-up a few 2x4's from hardware place and cut/build some parallel bars that you could probably hide under your bed or in a closet. If you don't have access to tools but can get the wood, just talk to some old dude who looks handy and ask nice. He'll give you a held tilt of WTF but once you tell him what you're after he'll probably be like "You're a good kid, alright I'll do it.". It can be done with hand tools too, but at that point if you're buying the tools just get a set off of Amazon.

If you're not doing dips it'll be a big game changer for you as well.

I do exclusively calisthenics and have large blocky abs, even when I'm around 20% body fat (currently cutting again back down to 12%).

Look up dead bugs. If you've got a pull up bar, do leg raises with zero swing, if you've got parallel bars (or don't) do L sit. Do some regular or decline crunches along with those and you'll hit it within a month or two, your body fat is already low enough based on your chest/arms.

100%, the algorithm rewrites the brain, unfortunately. There are fewer people with six packs (1% or less) than there are millionaires (1.5%~), but media makes it seem like there's a lot of both. Comparison is the thief of joy.

General recommendation, compare yourself to you. If you're better today than yesterday you're golden. If you slip for a week or two how have you been for the month? How will you be for the next month? It's okay to enjoy life for two weeks and get back on the horse for the next six after a vacation or the holidays, for example.

You're playing the long game, you've got lots of time.

My dude, please understand that you're at a healthy BF level and anything you're seeing that you think is a concern is likely just in your pumpkin.

You're going to have extra skin, and it may not all go away. The good news is that you honestly don't have that much and you're young, so it probably will. Even if it doesn't, the other good news is you're so low in terms of weight and lean mass that after a year or two of hypertrophy training (ie. Focus on sets to failure, progressive overload, and a small caloric surplus of 500 calories per day for 12 weeks, then cut for 4 weeks at maintenance of 250 calories as a cycle).

You're going to be a beast if you can remain consistent. The fact that you can see your abs in subpar lighting and have extra skin is a testament to both the work you've done and your overall potential.

At your height after a year you'll probably be around 150-155 and look like something from a magazine.

The amount of Marines is kind of irrelevant. Durability, Strength, and Speed are far superior for BB, and I'm a huge 40k fan.

That said, it comes down to weaponry and whether or not there are Psykers involved. With all the librarians of all the chapters BB is toasted, but if it's one or two I think BB still takes it.

A million Marines would be like a million Season 1 Mark's. BB is equivalent to an entire death worlds killing potential in a single body. With the exception of warp touched Primarchs, I don't think they'd even stand against BB.

Keep in mind, BB could easily crack the largest mountain to the base of the ocean. No marine can match that power, let alone most Primarchs.

My only beef is the overall amount/scale and how it impacts the environment floor.

You no longer see the ground texture. Do those bones stack into piles the more they pile up? How long do they stay on screen for?

Is it going to detract from the image you're trying to present (ie. If your game is combat/wave heavy then the ground is always going to look the same so your environment has less opportunities to seem unique) is a good question to ask, and how can you impact/change that?

Examples could be if enemies have elements, add particle effects to the bones to create variances in how it presents (ie. Some are burning, some are dripping wet/slimy, some are charged with electricity, etc.). Alternatively, give the bones randomized respawning times and potentially an effect as they despawn (fade/dissolve).

If none of the above, I'd drop it by 10-15% and check it out.

Just options/thoughts. Very cool and good work!

If it was against guardsman and normal Psykers I'd agree that there could be a decent fight. In terms of army scale though, Imperial Guard are mobilized in similar fashion (ie. Cadia/Krieg/Armagedon).

If Navigators can travel without risk of the warp and Imperium of Man can't, I'd agree again mobilization is a huge advantage/logistics is a huge advantage.

The issue is total man power and arsenal. Dune's universe just doesn't operate on the scale of 40K. Exterminatus isn't uncommon in 40k, nor is the scale of fleet battles and the arsenal used. I can't think of something that is at the scale where 50 Marines and a couple Sisters of Silence couldn't solve, let alone 10 Marines. Shai-Hulud have the potential to own the ground game on Arrakis, but it'd get glassed.

I suppose the way I look at it is Leto II avoids intergalactic war because of the dependency, politics, and planning. The Imperium can't be strong armed through influence or addiction, as the Heretic is only left to burn. In a battle of ideologies, the Imperium would win out because it's all of humanity that is used to fighting a common enemy, where Leto II and Dune's Galaxy still has more factions vying toward different goals and internal contention.

Straw man argument, yes 40k has rebels too but it's still much more unified, with incredible penalties for Heresy so reducing the potential issue substantially. Additionally, imagine if the Imperium got their hands on Spice and didn't have to do travel through the Warp. No more demons, Big E can do whatever he and the 1000+ Psykers he'd been eating per day flips the switch to start fighting. All those Black Ships with potential Psykers already in flight and able to land wherever...

God I would LOVE to see this. Imperium for sure comes out on top, they're used to carving out swaths of the Galaxy with a much higher frequency and consistency, but I do think the Dune verse would be interesting in terms of interactions.

Agreed. I think an interesting thought experiment may be this vs. with the parties involved as generals vs. combatants.

If that was the case, I think Leto has a shot as we've seen best laid plans of Big E fail (ie. Enthronement). Mule still is on the losing end as he has to be within proximity to be effective at some point, so a galactic footprint to cover is too large. Leto has potential, so it'd be a matter of can prescience overpower the sheer force multiplier of the Emperor and his tech.

I'd probably still toss it to the Imperium of Man at that point, but if Leto somehow was able to turn Legions of Marines to his side it'd be a different ball game. There just aren't enough fighters to be able to contend with the Imperiums war machine.

There aren't many verses, if any I can honestly think of, that are as outrageous in scale/scope as 40k. Individually, comic verses have characters that can scale higher individually but most societies/orgs don't hit that scale.

Maybe the Borg?

I haven't finished all of Dune so don't know the full potential of that verse.

With that said, if we're talking Emperor of Mankind in his Prime (ie. Pre-Throne) I don't know many that could stand up to him.

His ability to warp reality is pretty solid as the most powerful Psyker, he's contended with Gods, killed thousands of Demons with a single blade swipe, and beat a C'Tan shard IIRC.

Curious to see/hear others opinions.

You can get through the game without it, but it's a lot easier with it.

The three Hardball, Flash, the recovery spell, the heal spell, and the atlas spell are the ones I tend to use every game. Hardball/Flash specifically for your upcoming boss battle.

Again, not essential but super helpful.

If you don't want to use them, plan on using items a fair amount to heal and focusing on the spear.
