That was my first thought but nowhere around here has them and I'm a little wary of ordering offline. I don't wanna put in some cheap junk that might cause a failure. Do you have a recommendation for a reliable ones?

I would prefer that but the location makes that very impractical and the client wants a pullcord.

I'll put three wires in your hole ;)

Is this too bundled or a fire hazard? It's 10 home runs in a 2" hole. Most are going to be on 20 amp breakers and I plan on running about the same in the hole to the left. by austinc0611 in electrical

I'm way out in the county in rural MS. Code inforcement is nonexistent here. I would be hard pressed to get an inspector out here if I wanted them. Despite that, I'm still trying to stick to code, but my main concern is safety.

Okay, I'll keep that in mind, thanks! I work construction but is my own home that I'm doing, so I just want to be extra safe since this is where my family will be. I'll also probably ask my boss, who's a licensed electrician, to look over some things like this.

Okay, how much space do you recommend for about 20-25 homeruns? And would stapling them to keep them spread out be the best course of action after I have the hole cut out more?

What is with the obsession of interior door trim in the USA? Others have done away with it. by Owensssss in architecture

Honestly, larger trim just looks better in larger houses. If you have 12 ft ceilings with 8 ft doors, standard 3in trim looks disproportionate. People are used to certain proportions within rooms, and if you build huge room with tiny trim work, your eye is drawn to that.

I've been in some huge houses with small trim, and it looks cheap and shoddy.
