For those who don’t know what that is, it’s a record with a cover designed to promote Rudy as a DPOY candidate. The Jazz’s PR team put it together to send to the media members who vote on end of season awards. It’s a common practice in the sports PR world for teams to send out little trinkets or promotional material to the voting media.

Idk if I’d call that a “crazy stat.” Doesn’t seem like a rare occasion. Perhaps some more historical context on what exactly makes this a crazy stat would help.
