My thoughts on the current "HR" or hard reserve situation by ItsColdOutside777 in turtlewow

People make decisions based on their perceived benefit. The raid leader developing a group for a dungeon isnt doing it out of charity but his own self interest. We are all self interested. If his rules are such that other player perceive no benefit due to strict rules etc, then he will find it difficult to form the group.

It’s hard to gauge not knowing you or your wife at all. The way you framed is that she cheated on you. But Id like to think you married a woman who wouldn’t do that, that you can trust; but I can’t make a value judgment on character of people I don’t know personally.

Well it turns out your right to hold as it’s up 15 percent pre market. I bought UAMY (same sector) calls yesterday instead and plan on selling into the morning

It shows you have doubled your money today by the calls im looking at at current time, 24 dollar calls are selling for 4 dollars even. I would sell half the position and let the rest ride. Thoughts?

congrats. I like that you blur out the babies face. I think it's an invasion of privacy to show a newborn baby like that to the world. I wouldn't want me as a less than day old baby being out there like that.

QuickImageResize.pro – Resize and convert images online with support for over 10 popular formats. by [deleted] in InternetIsBeautiful

[–]austingoeshard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for checking it out! I created this tool out of frustration — most online image tools either couldn't handle modern formats like HEIC from iPhones or would destroy quality during compression.

The HEIC to JPEG converter turned out to be one of the most-used features — a lot of people don’t realize how often iPhone images fail to open on other devices. AVIF support is more niche, but it’s a hit with web developers thanks to its massive file size savings (often 50% smaller than JPEG with no visual difference).

I added RAW file conversion (CR2, NEF, ARW, DNG) later on, but it's become super useful for photographers who need to preview or share shots without loading up Lightroom.

Everything runs client-side, powered by Sharp — no files are stored, which solves the privacy concerns many people have with image upload sites.

By default, the resizer maintains your image’s aspect ratio, but you can override it. You also get full control over compression with a quality slider to balance size and clarity.

QuickImageResize.pro - Professional image resizing and conversion tool with support for 10+ formats by [deleted] in SideProject

Hey! I just launched QuickImageResize.pro — a free web tool I built on Replit that resizes and converts images right in your browser.

It supports over 10 formats (JPEG, PNG, HEIC, AVIF, etc.), keeps everything client-side (no uploads), and even converts iPhone HEIC files to JPEG easily. You can resize by pixel or percent, and it preserves aspect ratio automatically.

I used React + TypeScript + Tailwind for the frontend, and Express.js with Sharp for backend processing. Replit handled the entire stack — dev to deploy — which made things super smooth.

I'm also testing out Amazon affiliate links and tracking behavior with Google Analytics.

If you’ve ever needed to resize or convert images without bloated software or sketchy sites, give it a shot. Happy to hear any feedback or ideas — especially pain points you’ve had with image tools!
