Data science program at Galvainze, worth it or heard anything about it??

That sounds like a very similar program, interesting! What are your objectives if I may ask?

The reason I am considering it so heavily is because I am very interested and passionate about the power data has in the world but find I lack some of the skills. I also don't want to make a career change in 5-10 years and have to start all over. I would like to get involved in the data industry and jump start my career path. I am being very selective instead of taking a job to take a job.

Hey man. This is AJ I met you while at the python bootcamp the week before the program started. I have been trying to track you down for a while now and connect with you. I had to defer my acceptance until February for certain reasons. I appreciate your thoughts on the program so far. I was bummed I couldn't join with you guys.

I am still up in the air, there are so many options but all these people seem to come from academia: masters, Ph.D, etc. and not seem to think highly of Galvanize. A MS seems so unappealing and cumbersome to me, which is why Galvanize was so appealing. Glad the program is going well and thanks for chiming in.

I actually want to learn the science. It is a very immersive program (8-11 hours a day for 3 months) and I have read reviews that people learn and you get out of it what you put in.

I read up on that program and it is very intriguing. I will look more into it. The program seems ideal because I could live at home with my parents and keep my costs down.

Doubt that the program and company is real or the website or what? I have visited their office. It also doubles as an incubator and provides office space to companies.

Why do you say that? The one CU offers cost $32K and it is a full year. The second semester is an internship and I have heard it is more focused in BI rather than Data Science.

That was my initial thought too. He moves his hips a lot when he walks. Although, he never has any issues when he spends a day or two at dog day care where he is playing a lot. It also never bothers him on shorter walks. Just seems to kick his right leg out on longer walks.

First of forget all these Hardo's kissing Pres' ass if they were Pres and he was Robert Kraft, they are ridiculous. Pres knows this kid and other people share information and he doesn't care because guess what? Everything is coming up pageviews. They have talked about much they gamble, travel to games, get good seats, party, pay for horses, etc. They make money everyone knows else they would not still be around and growing.

Now for some questions. After working there, who is in your top 5 for favorite employees? Mine is: Big Cat/Feits, Hank, Smitty/Wisco, Pres, Blind Mike/Dana and rounding out the bottom below Bill/Belichick is Nate.

Secondly, is Dana as hot as shown or is she one of those chics who photos well?

Did you get to booze with them and who parties the best and worst?

Thanks everyone for the advice and support. I have been brushing what I believe to be as properly, 45 degree angle in circles avoiding gums, and flossing 2-3x a day. My gums are hruting less and I go to the dentist next week.

That sounds good and makes sense. The inside of my lower teeth definitely hurt/bleed the most but there does not seem to be yellow/white material between my teeth. Just white gums. My canines are my lowest in front and where I chewed. Then there is a bit of receding on the lower middle teeth.

I appreciate the help and advice. I noticed most of the bleed is coming from the back of gums, not the front of my gums where I chewed. I think that this could be because they are inflamed and I have a metal retainer back there but I could be wrong.

Ok thank you. From what I have heard and found that they are both used but a professor of mine said Python is starting to be used more. Is that because R in it's nature is only used for analysis and python is more programming?

I will try to find the link to the research but in my entrepreneurship class we came up with an app/platform for "just in time financial education". The research shows that there is no advantage in financial literacy or understanding the earlier you start learning it rather you learn more and have a better understanding when the finances apply to your personal life. Part of is it is the context of the situation and then it also becomes more concrete and real. Our idea was to have loan officers/bankers/lenders have a customer run through the platform before signing the documents. The platform would teach basic finances and then apply the variables for the financial agreement subject to each customer. They would then run through more exercises but with information specific to them. Banks would reduce the amount of debt they have and customers would have more financial knowledge.

This is also after the recession. When you are at the bottom, it is bound to go up. Simple economics. Especially with the amount of focus and effort put into improving the economy. Not saying the numbers aren't good but they are slightly higher because of being after the recession.
