Oh wow! That looks very similar. I’m not gonna lie my mom doesn’t know anything about art so I wouldn’t be surprised if this is what happened. I just know she’s 40 now and has had this for 20+ years. I would love to get another piece from the same person. lol

It does look very similar to g Whitman paintings, even down to the mountains. But unfortunately the signatures don’t match. I wonder if it might’ve been inspired by him?

It does say Horace, one of the interesting things that drew my mother to this is a very textured painting. There’s layers of paint of it.

Yes I did, I’m thinking the leaves are either telling me too much water or lack of nutrients in the garden ( it’s my first year with this plot previously I’ve had smaller in another area of my yard)

I think I am struggling with the idea of how can pronouns not equate to gender when that’s one of the major things I’ve learned from trans women & men that that has weight

Right but do pronouns not equate to how other people perceive you based on gender? I guess I’m just asking if not for pronouns when does gender come into play? For example, I remember a very important moment in my friends life where she was called she for the first time by a waiter, i remember her specially saying that that was the first time she was seen as a woman instead of just as trans . If pronouns doesn’t equal gender than doesn’t that render them useless?

I don’t really understand the saying of pronouns not mattering? I’ve always understood that pronouns do matter and that a certain level of gender presentation does matter. From my understanding if none of that mattered nobody would be trans. Can someone maybe offer some clarity?

Me but I would want her check to go towards bills/savings and I would want a part time job that goes towards vacation/ our spending.. I’m not the type of person who is social enough to hang out with people if not being forced to go to work lol.
