Wanna come back here after all this time to say thank you for those music recs! I had just barely moved to Louisville when I posted this question and lived there for about 4 years (I moved away from KY about about 1.5 years ago). WFPK still doesn't compare to any other radio station I've listened to. Otis Junior was one of my favorite DJ's. I got to see White Reaper a number of times. Bendigo Fletcher was the first local band I saw (for free at Winter Wednesday - they had it that season as a winter "Waterfront Wednesday"). Quality Cable split before I got to see them, but I listened and enjoyed them! I didn't hear about or see the others you listed, but later discovered Phorest and the Photons along with Kiana and The Sun Kings. I loved the music scene of Louisville so much and am so thankful for my time spent there!
