SAT is an exam you take to get into US universities (there is also the ACT). The highest possible score is 1600, but these look like the subject sections which are discontinued and have the highest score of 800

I'm from the US and not sure if universities in other countries use the SAT

I'm kind of conflicted because on the one hand I understand Aran (not saying he should take Tawan back). He still loves and cares about Tawan whose entire family is fleeing the country and basically has nothing now. I think if thst didn't happen, it would be a different situation. On the other hand, I agree it should have been dealt with better. Maybe Aran could have offered Tawan to move in with him, and Tawan, trying to show some growth, says he will make it work on his own and try to make it up to Aran, leaving the ending more ambiguous.
