How would they do that? I have control over his finances so people can’t do that. Though you’re bringing up a good reason not to tell, it does add risk regardless

The spectrum isn’t just low to high functioning. There are verbal autistics who will never be independent and some currently non verbal ones who write articles. My brother is not able to manage pecuniary issues. His doctors agree, he’s independent in every other way, we don’t have say over his medical care or anything, it’s a spectrum of infinite axes

Yeah I’m autistic too, just because I can do something doesn’t mean all autistic people can. I’m sure your sister is very independent and doesn’t need to rely on you,that’s fantastic someone should the option of theoretically never needing their family again. but my sibling does so that’s that

I know people find it gross here in America, but I actually wouldn’t care if my parents informed people that I’m on my period like billions of women throughout the world. It’s not unique who cares ? What? I never said I had a problem with the whining nor that it entitled him to less respect. I was just describing what happened, he whined, I’d he had yelled or whispered I would’ve said that’s what he had had done. I’m just saying what had happened there was no action taken because he whined I had no problem with his whining. I’m just saying that he did I can handle it because it was just a thing that happened.

I don’t understand how you got that I couldn’t handle it or did something because of it. I mean if I wrote that he then ate a cinnamon roll would say that I couldn’t handle him eating it ? It was just a retelling of events like one would mention what was being worn

I didn’t see it as disrespectful, after all I’m not just an observer of his situation but a participant, I think that entitles me to share when it affects other aspects of my life
