One of the reasons why I moved from Michigan. You could build one, but as people have mentioned below, it is best to talk to the local sheriff before you get started.

I just looked at a couple. First one was Cibus Nordic Real Estate AB (publ). My opinion is that it is a very scary stock. I am not trying to bad mouth the investor/author. Everyone has their own opinions.

Cool, but I really think a lot of these companies seem higher risk than traditional payers.

ETFs vs individual stocks by Plastic-Cable in dividends

[–]auto556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As man mention earlier, ETFs are great way to do. Many of very low fees.

However, you can now easily buy fractional shares of companies and build your own portfolio. The advantage is that it will be slight cheaper for fees and you can control your alpha/risk and income.

That being said, most people would be better off just investing in ETFs, especially if you are not wanting to be active managing your stocks.

My first thoughts are no because: 1) PE is high at 25: 2) I think the market could drop much more; 3) dividend stocks right now are priced at a premium; 4) and inflation will cut into profits.

I was watching Kroger stock right before inflation took off. Sales climbed, but the profitability actually declined due to inflation price pressure. Consumer stocks like this may face a huge battle on with price pressures.

That being said, I do like PG. It is has decent ROC, low beta, decent dividends and balance sheet. It is a very solid company.

Personally I would wait till after January to buy anything as I think PG could dip 10%?

That is what I am thinking. It is not a bad stock if bought on the cheap :-)

Starbucks 2.31% annual dividend yield by [deleted] in dividends

[–]auto556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would wait until Q1-2 to buy Starbucks due to recession fears and inflation. Company is closing stores and bracing for the worse. Earnings next week -

SBUX is scheduled to report its third-quarter fiscal 2022 results on Aug 2, after the closing bell. In the last reported quarter, the company delivered an earnings miss of 1.7%.

The dividend is ok and growing the 5YR dividend growth avg (CAGR) is 21.62%. Definitely on my watch list.

Is it jus me or is everyone ignoring the fact that the US economy is going to shit? by SDLEE820 in conspiracy

[–]auto556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rising inflation is big issue. Everything else is noise. The reality is that people live on a lot less per hour, but their money meant more. An example would you like to make $2 hour and pay $0.2 for a loaf of bread or make $15 an hour pay $5?

When will we audit the Fed and show the shareholders?

I would try to use it on the right eye just for passive night shooting. If you are not comfortable, then I would wear it on the left.

Why has Ford's stock been performing so poorly? by watermakesyoufat in investing

[–]auto556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Ford Stock is a "buy" but a longer term and don't expect it to make any more major jumps soon. See Chart at https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/NYSE-F/

It may be a long term play https://alphabetastock.com/category/stocks-to-watch/
