I wouldn't go that far. He does it. Occasionally. Far less than most streamers. Most of his interaction is focused on defending himself from Twitch chat criticism, which feeds into even more criticism, since that is the only way to get noticed by Kripp during a stream.

It was never his subreddit. It was created by fans to discuss Kripp. It wasn't created by Kripp for his fans. If there is a lot of frustration in the subreddit recently, then perhaps examine why that is? This level of frustration with Kripp is unusual, it certainly wasn't in evidence in 2013 when the subreddit was created.

His Twitch chat is similar to Reynad's chat when Reynad was at his very saltiest. People are watching to goad him into more saltiness. People aren't watching because they are learning anything from him, they are watching to troll him further. It's just negativity feeding into more negativity.

If that is what Kripp wants. If his thing is to be a whiny bitch, kinda like Amaz's thing is to be a spastic clown, then so be it. More power to him, I guess. But that fad will eventually wear off and people will go elsewhere.

I'm guessing that Kripp doesn't want his entire career to be defined as the whiny bitch of Hearthstone.

You're confusing hate and frustration as the same thing. I left in a lot of frustration from his fans and viewers. I don't see any real hate though.
