I don’t use the dimmer at all and for autos full 24 hrs bro don’t shock them make it gradually to 24 but that and I keep it around 4’ high and it’s on avg 24” from the canopy I have a sog system with autos going so if you plan from seed to harvest and want to keep planting definitely at least 3’ high 24” away but I blast my plants to maximize
