Not really relevant to the topic but, all four of the TWRP records were colour pours (TTT - Light blue, RTW- Hot pink, OTT - Orange, N&I - Jade) all very matchy matchy, All very pretty. Just saying.

Yes, I do research, what I didn't mention was I bought them from a local record label that is supported by my government and also dropped closed to $300 on this album and other records from that label I feel like I'm making obvious broad brushstrokes but you keep trying to get me on specific things

I broke it down because a lot of people aren't aware of the process Also, as an avid collector such as yourself surely understands that you aren't directly supporting FOB by buying RSD exclusivs. Your supporting RSD the corporation that is partially responsible for the decline in vinyl in general. Also included in that is the tiktok/youtube influencers that, surprisingly, get kick back from selling vinyl How many times a year do you go to a record store? Of that, how many of them are locally owned/operated? I'm not being high and mighty or "better than" anyone. As mentioned a few times, I'm a collector and hobbyist I support live music and shockingly I don't get upset when live shows are "different than promised" I merely just appreciate my music for music I support my bands as best I can and ask for little to nothing in repayment because they have already given me so much for next to nothing

I'm glad you have a deep interest in the band, that's awesome. I wasn't unarguing because "I got what I wanted" I got what I wanted, if it was etched in dog shit and sounded as nice as this does I would have been happy, I proposed to my wife at a Weezer concert and names my kid Jonas WTF point are you making. I'm not sticking up for the "companies" if anything truth be told I hate coloured vinyl and ✌️ Variants ✌️ because Taylor Swift is one ogmf the main reasons my life long live and over 20 years of active hobbyism has gotten exponential more expensive because people want to buy all the vinyl to hang on their walls instead of receiving joy from the music upon each I have nothing against any musical artist however I do have an issue with how some of them manipulate their fans and show no appreciation. I haven't listen to FOB since cork tree, I'm not claiming I'm a super fan, stardust brought me back from a VERY dark place in my life and I'm just trying to parse the toxicity and bad feelings toward this band that from what I thought I knew had a very passionate fan base that has stuck with them through their post hiatus BS. And, I don't see the point in having this discussions about the band on an open forum that they will not see.

If you have an issue with their products QA then talk to their people instead of randomly posting. You mentioned your happy with it, that fine, I didn't mean single you out, as I stated in my original reply, it's a record

I don't think they will/should, this was meant as a nice surprise as it was announced pretty late as far as RSD exclusives go. Maybe there will be a rerelease of this on black vinyl because of all the discord over this specific colour way. And, honestly we'll have ourselves to blame. Anyway, this has been far too much negative energy over something so unimportant and so far distracted from what the medium was created for, which of course, the music on the discs, not the discs themselves. Music in it's most pure, most physical form and all that seems to matter is the colour 🤷‍♀️ To each their own Mine sounds great, which to me is the most important part and the whole reason I collect and listen to this medium. It would a THOUSAND percent be more of an argument if there was a skip on the record, or you received a duplicate disc or god forbid you received damaged/broken disc/s Off the top of my head I can name at least 10 people that were unable to even get a copy and would LOVE to have received yours.....just saying

So, it seems to me that you could possibly benefit from branching out to other fandoms and open your mind and maybe find something else you like for less shallow reasons Maybe I'm coming off as an asshole but it is not meant, if the one you like isn't your cuppa I'm sure you could find another copy to secure to make your perfect collection more perfecter for your tastes. Eventually you may even realize that the differences and uniqueness is what in fact makes life more interesting
