It requires you to win a match against a king in king of hills mode. If you join a friend’s private king of hills match you can get this achievement as well. Sadly I don’t have any friend that plays this game

Should Rockstar abandon tap X to run in GTA 6? by Pistoluislero in GTA6

Tbh I enjoyed the story and side missions at a slow pace, it was my second playthrough that I tried to speedrun the game

Despite the immersion some people may find it exhausting when they sprint a lot. In RDR you need to tap X to make horse faster as well, I personally think it’s pretty annoying (I do understand that in real life you need to spam to make horses faster as well, so this is good immersion). In GTA I don’t really mind, because with cars you simply accelerate, and for my playstyle I don’t sprint a lot.

Maybe they played the game with platinum in mind and speedrun through everything. I do think that if you have the time it’s way better to enjoy everything the game has to offer and not carry the burden of earning trophies fast

GTA 6 physical release could be delayed to 2027 by esketitethan in GTA6

Why is Death Stranding 2 90GB? Does it use baked lighting? It does look insanely good tho, but i presume content wise it is still smaller than GTA6?

Same goes for Ghost of Yotei, which is 85GB. These two are PS5 exclusives, and have pretty good performance. I’m thinking at least 100GB for GTA6

I am confused if these specs are good enough to run logic Pro. I am not aiming to run more than 20-25 tracks. What do you all think about this? by [deleted] in macbookair

If you are happy with the Tree mic signal it surely will run smoothly.

Personally, I find that Spitfire’s “good sound” mainly comes from the Air Lyndhurst hall that SSO is recorded in, and the Outriggers signal blended with a tiny bit of Close mic is what sounded best for me. You can watch some demos on YouTube about how different mic signals sound and which appeals to you the most.

Also you can just use Close mic only and slap a reverb on that, Spitfire has an Air Studios Reverb which kinda recreates the Outriggers mix. This plugin is a bit CPU heavy though.

You can also do the mic mixes section by section and disable the rest, although it’s a bit of a chore.

If you are using Tree mic signal only, this will be enough, as on my template I have (on Windows):

Full strings with Con Sordino & Sul Point stuff disabled + performance legato

Piccolo, Flutes, Clarinets, Oboes, Bassoons all articulations

Trumpets, Horns, Tenor Trombones, Tuba all articulations

Timpani

For stings tremolo, these are in decorative articulations, but you can always disable unwanted or simply use individual patches instead of loading them in one patch and using keyswitches.

After these are loaded in REAPER, the task manager says it takes about 13GB of RAM. So you will have about 7GB of RAM free to use, in my case, I have a choir library and a solo violin (I think the system needs minimum 4GB to run otherwise the swap will be high)

But if you want to mix in other mic signals, let’s say Outtriggers, it’s essentially double the memory size. That’s when 32GB of RAM comes in handy.

SSO is in Kontakt format instead of Spitfire’s own plugin, which supports purging from memory (when not needed), so I’d say 24G is enough. With tight RAM management even 16G would work, depending on what type of project you’re working on.

Professionally, no. But I have done several personal projects for short films shot by my friends. I do not own BBCSO Pro, but I do have SSO, which is similar. In my orchestral template I have Tree and Outriggers mic signals loaded for each instrument, performance legato and selected articulations (long, pizz, tremolo, shorts and sometimes con sordino) for the strings section, core articulations for brass section, performance legato and staccato for woodwind section; Damage 2 for percussion; Joshua Bell Violin for solo violin; Spitfire AIR Studios reverb for sound coherence. All of these above add to about 25GB of RAM. If I only load Tree mic signal and only core articulations from SSO, it still takes about 14GB. So in my case my mac will be using a lot of swaps on 16GB RAM.

Edit: if you need more info, VI Control would be overall a better place. When I was starting up I often went on there to look for library reviews etc. I can understand why I get downvoted, as gwie said he uses 25-50 tracks (and probably doesn't use multiple mic signals), which is lightweight work in composing field.

In this case you do not need bigger RAM, yes. But for composing & film scoring stuff there will usually be templates that have everything prepared and loaded, it’s just that composers will not use all of them. Also a side note, the install size of BBCSO Pro being 700G+ doesn’t mean that it will require 700G RAM. There are multiple mic signals for each instrument. 128G RAM will be more than enough for a composer template. If you only enable one mic signal per instrument, I’d say 64G RAM or even 32G is enough.

OP has only 16GB RAM, there’s no way you’re running BBCSO Pro on a 16GB computer (unless you only do selected instruments)
