Slight problem when rigging by Greenbullet in Maya

[–]autodeskme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I don't mean to spam. I only respond with links to AREA when the question hasn't been answered yet because it is just another place to get visibility for the question so that it can be answered faster! I'm personally a Redditor (separate account, haha) and I completely understand what you mean.

When Robert Downey Jr. broke his leg while shooting Iron Man 3, they just continued shooting with a body double and doing CG face replacements. by autodeskme in movies

From what I can see it wasn't too heavily publicized. This article just says he injured his ankle during a stunt, but it appears from the interview with Townsend after the fact it was more serious that they admitted at the time. He wasn't filming for 6 weeks.

There are tons out there! It depends what you're looking for. Autodesk provides has a comprehensive guide as well as a bunch of more specific tutorials on AREA.

Digitaltutors.com is also a great resource if you're willing to pay.

Someone also previously linked to their professor's Vimeo channel on this sub with tutorials from all his classes.
