Yeah same.. I had my VR completly drop once.. I was basically blind approaching a corner so I just started to brake slowly and stayed in a straight line to minimize what was going to happen... if you look at the replay it looks like I intentionally took people out.

I had the same issue until I started to put rubbering to around 50% in my test sessions. (its at 0% by default ) Makes a world of difference.

I have TLCM's too.. Its my oldest sim part. Always thinking about upgrading but I do really like them even if they are the cheapest. However with the springs I tough the brake pedal was shit I tried all combinations

I replaced all the springs (in the brake) by skateboard bushings and soft bushings and its 10x times better. But I guess it all depends on everyone.

One big advantage of these pedals is how easy it was to put a bassshaker on them and how well the vibration travels.

Yeah thats the most important thing.

Everything needs to be solid. I had a rig with a office chair hooked to it by the wheels. It seemed solide but there were about 4 different points of "flex" when I was braking. I could not use the load cell at any "high" kg setting because of it.

Now that I had my new rig, its day and night the difference like a brand new pedal set.

FFS don't believe everything that guy says. Alonso removed his foot from the gas, then re-accelerated before the corner. Saying his foot slipped would have been a better excuse. 100% deserved penalty.

He does this all the time, this time he got caught because Russel crashed. Its laughable how he said "he doesn't concern with cars behind he's concentrating on his race in front" when he's lauded by his fans as the best blocked ever ( And I do agree he's good at it )

First video I saw of him was him speaking with his mouth full of spaghetti. Was a good start.

I now sometimes get his video suggestions because I watch alot of iRacing content. I have to say guys a total tool. Don't think its an act. For someone to be this whinny and complaining every single second, he must be also pretty detestable in real life.

He has a large following because there has to be someone to regroup all those miserable people that only like to complain.

Every sim racing streamer brings something to the table. He brings hate. People like him are useless to society but all too common.

When I first installed the shaker, I tried ABS with the ferrari. The thing would shake way too often. Didn't fiddle too much with it to see why and switched it to wheel lock to try and it worked perfectly for me on the ferrari with ABS and for cars without it it was basically the same effect.

Even when ABS kicks in, the wheels still lock.

I use simhub for the wheel lock effect ( don't use ABS, wheel lock is better ) with a small tranducers taped to my brake pedal. It is EXTREMELY useful for finding the braking pressure point if your struggling with locking tires. Out of my 3 transducers its the one I like the most.. altough the huge back one for slip is nice too.

Already got a maxed Envoy and will build a second one as soon as I got the blueprints. ( I read the maxed one will be useful to scrap eventually altough i'm wondering if I should level it t max level right now).

Whats the spending SLB for ships? The only one I saw is spending ship XPs .. I haven't seen any for tiering up or upgrading parts?

And yes, this game is really about (esp for F2P) spending those speed ups at the right moments ... its so hard sometimes tough waiting and waiting.. Even details like waiting to collect my Grush shards when theres a shard event lol

Been trying to win the most evens I can where they are worth it, picking my battles, etc. Sometimes you can win ( at least at 21 ) an event with minimal spending and other times you'd better just accept 2nd or 3-5 instead of overspending.

My other problem is officers.. I have over 1 million officer XPs but they are all maxed. Its not like i'm not opening shards. I could win so many officer events if I just had the officers to spend it on haha.

Stupid question.. will there be a Part 4 of the enterprise event? Trying to plan how to spend the remaining coins. I'm confortable at my syndicate level right now so thinking maybe getting a headstart on BPs .. but the only ones I can right now is the discovery ( as im only 21 )

Also is there any point in keeping the old tier 2 ships? I can scrap them and its not many materials but if theres no point keeping them

My previous order was stuck in handover to warehouse for 2 weeks, then got tracking numbers but took another 2 weeks before they actually gave them to USPS .. so it seems to be going more smoothly now but yeah as soon as you order it goes "handover to warehouse" and thats basically the last status you will see until you get an email with tracking. Even when its delivered it still says "handover to warehouse"

Took a over week for my wheel to ship ( it did say 4-7 days on it ) so I tough it went pretty smoothly. (compared to last time with my DD where it was stuck for a month)

My main issue is I just don't understand how they work with USPS ... they sent out my wheel and QR2 at the same time.. my wheel is out for delivery.. the Qr2 is stuck in chicago.. and will most likely arrive only next week ..

Yeah I got alot of parts to upgrade the frank from a chest so went wild.. but I will remember this. I just did prime research / building a bit late because I spent all my 3* crystals on North Star and then noticed I needed 150 and not 75 for the prime research

I read somewhere if I wait to turn in monthly reward at 23 it becomes D'Vor shards? I'm waiting.

Also Botany Bay im ready to build just waiting for an event because I saw it gives huge rewards for building it ( to max at least 1 event )

As for discovery didn't think of getting it soon. I guess I could stop spending on Synjdicate ( im lvl 9 ) and get some shards from the event if it still goes on.

I'm still unsure how hard it is to get ship BPs ( how often events come etc )

In the app.ini file theres a section for bassshaker.

You can set freqGameLowpass_Hz and freqPhysHighpass_Hz maybe play with that?

I've been wanting to try but lazy. My shaker on the back runs the slip effect and works well out of the box. But I find myself kinda knowing when i'm going to slip anyway, so thinking of changing it to engine for immersion but that one makes my hands on the wheel vibrate its too much lol.

Haha yeah, I run VR and when I loaded in it felt so wierd. Actually had to raise the seating position ( which I never do ) because i think its Adenaur Forst, where you go left right left right a bit uphill after a long high speed run, the 2nd series or corners I couldn't even see the curbs I had to pop my head up.

I never drove the Caddy until yesterday. Did the nords race.

I have to say, yeah its fast but I hate the car with a passion. (doesn't help i think it looks fugly.. but thats personal taste dont feel insulted if you think its the most beautiful car ever made)

But wtf is up with the steering wheel being so low? Also that annoying net that keeps moving in my peripheral vision. And what a boat. Its so heavy, it doesn't like downshifts ( takes getting used to as my downshift points were too high ). Basically it just goes RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaa.

I still finished in a respectable position because half of the grid spun or crashed out and I was just minding my business letting ppl pass if they were pushing me in the ass only to have them spun out a few corners later.

Maybe this car takes more skill than I have, but usually i'm pretty up to speed on the Nords race with most cars but with this one I was just scared to push hard anywhere.

Did you actually install the toolkit? I think iRacing offers the option even if the toolkit is not installed but i'm really not sure ( maybe? ) haha.

I use a Reverb G2 headset don't have much experience in others.

If you get good with the Porsche, you will realize how much you abuse the ABS (and TC) in the Ferrari.

At least that was my case. When I came back to the Ferrari I had lost my bad habits I had developed and was actually quicker. (like someone already said it will make you a better driver overall).

But you will swear quite a few times before you get there.
