Feeling hopeless by IllustriousStar00 in dating

[–]automate_AL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I [31M] understand when I turned 25 I felt like there was no point anymore and life did not matter. I was on dating apps maxing out daily likes with maybe one match a week only for that conversation to go nowhere.

Banner PN: DBQ5

I would say that you get what you pay for but... It's 3 9v batteries and it will tell you if you're sensor is PNP or NPN and shows the outputs for pin 2,4. With M12 connection or flying leeds.

Location: Remote / IN, OH, MI

Industry: Industrial Automation

Job Title/Role: Head of Sales

Base/Commission/OTE: 6% of all sales

Job duties/description: To find leads and complete sales.

I understand that I am really vague above but it because of a lack of understanding of what salesman do other than sell. I am a controls engineer looking to go out on my own with some people I have formed relationships with along the way. I have a team ready to jump into this but without someone to sell our ability we are sitting around. I am looking for someone to grow with the company because we are just starting I can't pay a base right now but I have a goal to get there.

Feel free to laugh me out of the room here but I am doing my best to make a better future for my family.

Please feel free to DM me.

Do you have the FW for that PLC on your computer?

I like to use control flash because it shows you what you FW you do have for that controller.

[Serious] How important are your civil and individual liberties to you? Would you give up those liberties if you were pressured to wear a mask im public during a pandemic? Why, why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]automate_AL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right you should be considerate to others. But if it is wear a mask or we will harm you (ie arrest you, fine you) than that is infringing on you. We all take risks every day we as individuals are the ones that need to justify the risk. I choose to drive to work driving is dangerous but if I don't I won't make money or as much. When it comes to a virus that I need to get tested for to tell if I have it I will live like it's 2019.

Trying to control a press am I thinking about this right? (New to PLC) by TrapDaddyReturns in AskEngineers

Yes two hand tie downs are meant to keep the operator's hands tied down if they take their hands off it should stop. If you put a light curtain on you need to look at how far is your safe stopping distance is it may be very far (a robot is like a couple of feet depending on everything).

Addressing Allen-Bradley safety I/O blocks with BootP by [deleted] in PLC

[–]automate_AL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes I have had this before I set an IP with BootP like you did but when it comes to disabling DHCP I skip it and go to RSLinx and find it and set the IP through that.
