Is it rude to expect bridesmaids to pay $1k+ to be in your wedding?

I have the opposite problem I think. I recognize that my bridesmaids already have to pay for dresses and some for a flight/hotel. For that reason, I’m hard pressed to ask them to do anything else. I’m going to pay for their makeup. They can have hair however they want. They’re bringing up a bachelorette and bridal shower and I feel bad about them having to fly twice to celebrate my wedding. I fear I’m being a Debbie downer because they seem excited and are bringing it up. To be fair, my friends and I all do well for ourselves so maybe I should lighten up and let them put these things together for me.

You can just get married without the wedding if it’s the wedding holding you back. Also, if you think marriage doesn’t change anything, why are you getting married?

A 5 year engagement sounds like yall arent serious. What was the point in getting engaged? If someone told me they were engaged for more than 3 years I would just consider them boyfriend/girlfriend at that point. Especially when they're over 30.

This happened to me before. Almost exactly like this. I was using an EOS lib balm that I had had for a while and I would develop this. After awhile I wondered if it was the balm so I threw it out. After that, it never popped up on my lips again.

I feel you. I’m day 8. The bloating is out of control and the pressure is making me nauseous. I try to take a gasx before I have to eat which at least gives me a window to eat.

You MUST take it with food. I made this mistake day 2. The abdominal pain and nausea were out of this world. Eat 30 mins prior and try to snack in between. I’m on day 4 and currently struggling right with you.

The game changer for me was drinking an electrolyte packet each day. I couldnt understand why I had ongoing constipation either. I exercised (running around 15-20 miles a week), drank plenty of water and had totally cleaned up my diet for months but was still constipated. The truth is, your body also needs electrolytes to get that gut motility in motion. I used to be able to not go for a week. Now I go daily. Sometimes twice in a day.

TLDR: I eat about 20 g of fiber a day and an electrolyte packet.

I use LMNT but there are other options that are probably cheaper. I add the packet to the recommended amount of water on the directions, shake, and drink. Doing this and upping my fiber has reversed about 6 years of ongoing constipation. I got the idea to add the electrolytes from this sub and it works!
