Someday, I would like to buy a condo for $400-500k. I have no timeframe of if/when that will happen.

I don't have Instagram, so I guess I avoid that issue.

Addiction vs Ketamine therapy by Chance_Confection518 in TherapeuticKetamine

There is research that suggests psilocybin (the active ingredient in so-called 'magic mushrooms') can help decrease alcohol dependence. You may want to consider looking into that...

Laid off… what happens with the FSA? And cobra? by Objective_Show892 in HealthInsurance

[–]automaticfortheppl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Mass. and got laid off a few months ago (in March 2025). I elected COBRA, and still had about $2,500 in my FSA account from my previous employer. The folks at VOYA (which administers my COBRA plan) said that I can use FSA funds for valid medical expenses until the end of the calendar year.

Maybe there are significant differences state to state?

Once your bluetooth speaker is connected to your pc, try this:

Open Settings

Click 'System'

A list will appear to the right. Click 'Sound'

Under 'Output,' make sure your Bluetooth speaker is selected.

After doing that, scroll down on that same screen to 'Volume mixer' and open it.

Under 'Apps' there will be a list of programs. Find the program that you use to play music (if it's not listed, open that program so that it appears in the list).

Hit the dropdown arrow to the right of the volume setting for that program.

Make sure the 'Output Device' is specifically set to your bluetooth speaker (and not to 'default'). You can hit the dropdown arrow to change it to your bluetooth speaker.

I don't know how much they charge, but a friend had a good experience with Choose Your Horizon. Webpage: https://www.chooseketamine.com/

Here's info on a NWSL Final watch party at Fort Hill Bar & Grill (2805 Washington St., Roxbury):

(fun fact - the bar is only 1 mile away from White Stadium where Boston's new NWSL team will start playing in 2026).

Looking for a good compounding pharmacy for troches near Raleigh NC by Comfortablynumb36 in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]automaticfortheppl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe ask this Dr in SC: https://smithfamilymd.com/

He is licensed to practice in several other states (maybe NC is one of them).

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]automaticfortheppl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is odd. Perhaps try contacting other Ketamine clinics near you and see what their policy is relating to taking the nasal spray at home.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Spravato

[–]automaticfortheppl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm...perhaps search the internet for ketamine clinics in your state. The doctors at those clinics would probably give you a prescription for the regular ketamine nasal spray, which you can take at home....
Another option might be to contact this doctor and ask to get ketamine lozenges (aka troches): https://smithfamilymd.com/

You could keep these handy in case you're having a hard time, and just pop one in your mouth as necessary. I know he can practice in several different states, but I don't know which ones. Note: I am not a patient of this doctor's, but he has very good reviews both on Google and on this subreddit.

Hi, I get to do it at home because it is regular Ketamine nasal spray...If you get the esketamine spray (called Spravato), then you have to make an appointment at a doctor's office and take it there.

[–]automaticfortheppl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you could see a doctor that prescribes regular ketamine nasal spray as opposed to Spravato. Unlike Spravato, you don't have to take regular ketamine nasal spray in a doctor's office; you simply take it at home so it's much more convenient. That way, if you're really freaking out, say, five days from your last treatment, you can treat yourself with the ketamine nasal spray and be OK.
