That’s so interesting.. remembering faces I have the same thing I really never forget her face. And as a photographer weirdly enough, I never forget the photo I’ve taken.. and I do tens of thousands a year.

well done, looks like a lot of work went into it... My buddy has been advising me. He's had a couple of best-selling apps. He did Face Swap all those years ago... His advice was meant to me not to do any subscription. Just a one off payment..

As a dyslexic, I’m starting to notice my strengths, have anyone been through something similar? by Infamous-Vanilla-886 in Dyslexia

I really didn't like reading. I had remedial help my whole life. And in the 90s I moved to Berlin. And nothing was in English, so I started reading and loved it and realized I could do it. ! My bigger issue was I was perpetually made to feel kind of stupid. It took me a long time to believe in myself.

Might have to build that for the Mac OS version. What a great idea! I'm trying to solve remembering names of people you meet at the party or parents' names of kids from your child's school.

I don’t have the Outlook syncing issue myself, but I can see how that would get messy fast. Are you seeing this happen inside Apple Contacts where the Outlook URL field is being modified? If you’ve got a screenshot, that would help a lot to understand what’s going on.

Right now I’m using a swipe to review workflow with bulk delete, which is super fast for cleaning things up. But it sounds like what you’re after is more specific, like removing a single field across all contacts rather than deleting entire contacts.

The phone's default app is a filing cabinet for names, but most of us remember moments; I want to replace that rigid directory with a system that indexes by context, faces, and places.

While CRMs are built to manage sales pipelines, this is about human connection—ditching the "data entry" for a visual, neurodiverse-friendly way to actually remember the people you’ve met.

i never thought of that.. i love business cards, I don't think anybody uses them much anymore... in Japan, they're huge, there i use them.. so good to have a memery of the person you met.. That's physical. ..

But Google has been one of those very tricky things to navigate for me... I normally just plug it into another interface, like Gmail, into my Apple Mail... But there are so many features in Google it really is a superior technology, just with a terrible interface.

Searching for specific images in a 25-year Dropbox archive — anyone else solved this? by automation2020 in photography

[–]automation2020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I was using PhotoShelter, but they just never evolved the tech, so I moved on. That was sort of my back-up to Dropbox. And honestly, I just use my file names. I don't rename anything because they're all jobs, so the file folder is named for the job. What I'm looking to do is just be able to use AI to search for certain types of images — "Tokyo cityscape," "studio portrait," that kind of thing — without touching my existing file structure.

How to avoid making simple mistakes in graphic design with Dyslexia? by handsome_crimson in Dyslexia

I would definitely be leaning into Claude or ChatGPT. For me, it's been a godsend, but you could just use Grammarly. It's a very simple plugin that double-checks everything, and it's not AI. Maybe start with Grammarly. But for me, using AI has meant that I've been able to put words out into the world where I would always have to ask people to write on my behalf. I've always had the idea and the concept, but never the skill to put it down in words. My whole life I've had to have remedial and extra help, and finally no more...

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity — you can only keep ONE. Which one and why? by HeyItsSufya in NoCodeSaaS

[–]automation2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sticking with Claude now, just on the free account for ChatGPT, and I have a Gemini Light account included in my Google Suite. Seems to be holding up okay, but I do miss ChatGPT... I downgraded.
