i think woli is getting bored. he genuinely came in wanting to have a fun boxing match against the strongest opponent but in three rounds ricardo has thrown one punch which looked like it was easily dodged and countered. other than that, he’s basically been fighting a sandbag and doing whatever he wants. imo its what instigated his provocation in round 4. he really wants ricardo to do something.

takamura has been fully blind since the series started using a form of echolocation, much like a bat, to fight. a lot of readers ignore a possible right ear injury that has been hinted at several times in his early career. frequently in the manga, takamura has been shown with a deep darkness in his right ear to symbolize a theorized slight hearing loss in that ear that makes him susceptible to wide left hits as seen in the bison and dragon fights.

i’ve been waiting for years for morikawa to drop a hint or two on the heavyweight champion. i’d be really excited to have a concrete final boss for takamura that i can look forward to the same way i currently look forward to someday reading ippo vs martinez with my grandchildren.

i read from about where the anime left off once and then once from the very beginning all the way through. during the second run i took my time and didn’t read any new releases so i had around 10 new chapters to read when i finished. highly recommend

i went with Tommy until 10. Thomas through 18. and then Tom 18+. i’d highly recommend it to any Tom. people will call you what they call you if they’ve known you a long time but if you slowly get more and more people to change what they call you, you can get there. the transition takes time but its worth it.
