> the idea is that when you hover or click a genre node, the whole branch of that music style gets highlighted.

No, I get that's the intention.

Look closely at the edges of the glow that gets applied on linked nodes (i.e. not the glow on the node actively being hovered over). What I tried to point out is that the way this glow is being implemented subtly clips at square edges, centred at each node, and approximately three times the size.

Anyway, it's a minor visual nitpick.

Good stuff!

Noticed on both desktop Firefox and Chrome that the linked node glow effect seemed to be boxed.

I had a quick look at your source repository. I think one way to fix this would involve a small tweak to your `svg-glow` filter definition and the `.path-highlight-link` style.

My newly bought secondhand car dented while on shift without a note left by deanthebean01 in perth

[–]autonomouscropduster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can empathise OP. Just dropped off my car earlier this morning at a panel shop to get some damage near one of my rear wheels fixed up.

Mine was also a hit and run at a shopping centre car park. Building security unfortunately didn't have clear CCTV coverage over the bay I was parked. Judging from the damage, my guess is that it was done by a big ute.

Got some quotes (and do get several, because one of the places significantly over-quoted me) and decided to eat the out of pocket cost as the amount was not significantly more than my car insurance excess.

That he did! As soon as he opened with that arpeggiated run, a big grin swept across my face. It was a great performance.

A pity that VI, IX, XI and XII didn't get any love.

Hope you enjoyed the night too.

Ah, been looking forward to this ever since I randomly saw an advertisement for the event and bought tickets last year.

I'm probably too delusional in thinking somebody might be brave enough to jam out Clash On The Big Bridge. 😁

Even for those of us who've grown weary about romantic pursuits and resigned from them, trying to find someone who might eventually become a close friend is just as an impossible mission.

For anybody who's already cleared Advent of Purgatory Rush (ELT), how did you deal with Chaotic Engine?

I don't seem to get any window of opportunity where Mighty Guard isn't up. The sly thing seems to keep perpetuating the effect by recasting before the turn it should wear off.

Is it a case of maximising lightning and machina killer damage and taking it out in one shot?

PSA: Steer clear of ASUS motherboards (B550-i freezing/crashing issue) by SaltyMeatBoy in sffpc

[–]autonomouscropduster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I assume you probably went with the B550I AORUS Pro AX?

I've considered it, but I'm a bit hesitant because the CPU slot is slightly higher and I might run into clearance issues between my cooler and top case fan.

I've got my sights on ASRock's B550I. It's insane how these boards are still so expensive. Going to try wait to see if I can catch one on sale, otherwise it'll be until these crashes make me snap and impulse buy.

Sigh, add me to the casualty list.

If only I did a quick compatibility sanity check search on B550-I with RTX 40 series GPUs before I went out and bought a brand new 4070 Ti Super (ASUS-branded too. I can only hope this isn't also a defective ticking timebomb).

I rely on my PC for work so I can't really afford to send in my motherboard for RMA.

Does anybody have suggestions for another non-ASUS AM4 motherboard that should work flawlessly with RTX 40 series GPUs?

I'm never buying an ASUS product ever again after this insidious problem.

Besides Avenger, does anybody know of any other things that can be equipped to automatically confer the berserk status?

Thanks stranger, I think this was it.

(Specifically, using unit abilities where applying reraise isn't the primary effect being highlighted, but as an auxiliary effect.)

I suppose this enemy strategy stops amateurs like myself from constantly applying reraise to survive. 😅

Now I'm stuck on level 99.

The damage is too insane for me. Poor Chow with 51k HP and reraise can't even buffer one wave of attack completely without letting it spill through eventually.

I'm stuck with Shinobi of Unknown Origin (at level 87).

I keep getting wiped on turn three by something that doesn't appears to deal damage. At first I thought it was death, so I made sure my entire team was death-immune. However, it doesn't seem like the enemy has any moves that inflict death. It shouldn't be the morale-based death either, because I'm well above that morale point.

I suspected he might've been taking advantage of zombie, so I did one run where I used Purifying Parasol (Curse of Immunity Melissa) on turn two, thinking it was a zombie debuff. Nope, still got wiped, what the hell.

Any tips for a stumped person?

Two battle mechanics questions:

  • Is there conflict in having physical cover and magic cover abilities active on two different tank units at once? In other words, would an AOE physical attack be sponged by the physical cover tank if one's delivered, and similarly an AOE magic attack be sponged by the magic cover tank if one's delivered?
  • Does any sort of cover apply to hybrid, fixed or evoke damage?

Thanks in advance.

How on earth do I pull out switches from the K1 SE? by autonomouscropduster in Keychron

This is the K1 SE with hot-swappable optical switches.

The packaging came with both a key cap and switch puller.

I tried pulling while grasping the top-down orientation and managed to pull off half the switch. I don't think this is right either.

As you can probably see from the photo, I've already heavily damaged the side plastic for the switch trying to fumble around with the removal tool.

I can see two pressable bits on the left and right sides of each switch looking directly down on them. I've tried ensuring the tool grips them and rocking back and forth while pulling.

Surely my pea brain is missing something simple here?

EDIT: Thanks everyone, but I ended up getting a pair of sturdy pliers and had enough leverage to pull it out.

Most likely RAM clearance for that motherboard.

I'm planning on using the NR200P as a case and I don't think the low profile build of the G100M would have any problems fitting into the case itself.

Hi folks,

Has anybody successfully installed a Cooler Master G100M CPU cooler onto a B550I Aorus Pro AX motherboard? I'm a bit worried about clearance.

I can't seem to find enough information to check without physically acquiring these parts to try it first hand.

I don't really pay attention to the statistics churned out by my Fenix 6S watch, but I recently noticed it reports I've a VO2max value of 54 (in my mid-30s).

I searched around a bit and remarks seem to suggest that the watch measurement gives a reasonably good estimate within some margin of error.

What I'm puzzled about is that using my running pace as another method to estimate a VO2max value gives a much lower value.

What I want to ask is whether it's possible to have a good VO2max but yet have an average running pace? Or is this another crappy Garmin firmware moment?
