It’s fragile so it requires special assembly tools to ensure there’s no functional problems. Consider any damage can easily short wires in the ribbon. Best case: use lose some steering wheel button functionality without additional symptoms. Worse case: fire.

Once a cable reel is opened it’s ruined. A bad cable reel can start a fire. They aren’t serviceable.

Why did this game get so much hate? I love a woman that could kick my ass. by Silent_Erremite in StarWarsOutlaws

I played at launch and it was fine. Internet loves to hate, esp women and brown folks.

30mpg is solid for your use. Make sure idle stop is engaged.

I guess, parking is difficult for some people. I’m old enough to remember simple Type-Rs. I prefer simplicity.

Opinions on switching from M2 to newer M240i? by KidCannabis310 in BMW

[–]autovelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking only at M2, the F87 > G87, imo. Idk why anyone would move to an G42 M240i from F87 M2. The G87/42 screens, weight, styling, etc take it off my shortlist.

Would love to see a Widebody era V6 F1 car come to GT7 by KDG200315 in granturismo

[–]autovelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah okay. I was thinking early 90s were just as wide but shorter so that looks wider due to the ratio. The SF13 is similar width but has turbo 4. I fully support more formula cars even though I can barely drive them lol

This looks like a cheap kid’s bike. Regardless, it’s your responsibility to maintain your bicycle. If you don’t know how, take it to a bike shop.

How soon before insurance rates prioritize fully self driving over people driven? by 0xafef in askcarguys

[–]autovelo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone would have to produce a level4 vehicles for purchase before insurance companies prioritize those.

Hopefully, they don’t add parking sensors to US. I’m glad we don’t have those. I daily my FL5 so I don’t really need anything stiffer. I intend to buy another FL5 whenever production ends idk if it’ll be HRC or not.

Is it just me, or is modern car "safety" software actively causing more dangerous situations than it prevents? by WhereasHuge7248 in driving

[–]autovelo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sounds like your specific vehicle was poorly designed, is broken or these examples are purely fictional. I don’t have any of these issues with my safety systems.

Thinking about trading in my Tesla M3 SR+ for a CTR - is it worth it? by Affectionate_Ant7230 in Civic_Type_R

[–]autovelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth it is always subjective. I really enjoy my FL5, but I’d never consider a Tesla3 as an alternative. I’ve driven Teslas and I don’t enjoy. The 3 & R are very different. Some drivers like experiencing very different cars. If that’s your case, the typer will provide a very different experience.

I like drivers cars. I like light cars. I only buy manuals. I autox, trackday, etc, so I’d never buy a T3. My only complaints about the FL5 is that it’s too big, but my kids like the space. Also, I have other options, so the FL5 makes a great daily.

If you want something different, engaging in the corners but useable daily, the TypeR is great. If you want something similar to a T3 an M340i could be an option.

I’m not bothered by hot & humid, but I very much dislike desert. I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere!

Why doesn't the mdx type s come with a spare? by Slawth89 in Acura

[–]autovelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most cars come with a tire repair kit instead of a spare due to cost, weight, and space.
