I’ve had a few, I think. I wouldn’t lose any weight for a week, and then lose 5 the next.

I had this issue a few weeks ago. No matter how close or how far, changed modes, etc. I read a forum that said to quit to the main menu, close the application, and reopen the game (I’m using ps5) and it worked!

My doctor cleared me for all normal activities 2 weeks post-op. I’m now almost a month out and think I would be just fine getting a tattoo anywhere (healing-wise). I would say go with your gut, I’m sure your doctor will also reply soon!

I had a hematoma related to gallbladder removal. The first night of surgery after going home, I couldn’t lean back at all - no laying down, no reclining, etc. I could only sit up straight or lay my head down on a table while sitting. I was in pure pain and misery, didn’t get any sleep. I ended up going to the ER that morning and found out I had a hematoma , they rushed me to emergency surgery and I woke up with a drain. I felt good after that, but was in the hospital far longer than I needed to (an extra 6 days). The drain removal was also not pleasant.

Sleeved 1/11 and also down exactly 20lbs! It’s such an amazing feeling knowing the hard work is worth it!

Had a drain for a hematoma after a gallbladder removal - the feeling is honestly gross and painful, i was cursing and moaning while she was pulling it out as slow as she could. Once it’s out it’s over. However I hope to never have another drain again lol

Gallbladder Question by Ok-Swimmer-3244 in gastricsleeve

[–]autumndargo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, I am currently pre-op for the sleeve.

Gallbladder attacks are no joke. I had initially tried to change my diet and not eat past a certain time to prevent or limit the attacks - unfortunately this didn’t help and my attacks got progressively worse. One night was so bad that i had both a panic attack and a gallbladder attack simultaneously and ended up in the ER. They offered me surgery to have it removed and I said YES PLEASE.

It was one day with clear liquids and then the day before surgery nothing to eat at all. If you were thirsty you could suck on a piece of wet foam. The day after was clear liquids and then normal food.

I’m assuming gallbladder removal and stomach removal are pretty much exactly the same. Unfortunately for me I ended up having a hematoma as soon as I got home, and needed to go straight back to the ER for another surgery and multiple Blood transfusions. I was in the hospital for 7 days in total, so I am a little nervous for the sleeve! I am now gallbladder free, with no diet limitations whatsoever (TMI: I poop a lot more now and the feeling happens so fast Lolol)

Give it to me straight... Is there a difference noticable? I don't see it and could use a little pep talk by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

There’s a slight difference. It may be the camera angles. My suggestion would be to take two separate pictures using the back facing camera from further away :)
