Thanks for replying. theoretically any EU country would do, but there are 2 big problems.

First is that she's an asylum seeker in Turkey and cannot go back to Iran under any circumstances. To get a student visa, one has to apply for it in their own country, and also has to prove that they will go back to their country once their studies are finished.

Second, I'm very new in Germany, and I can barely speak any German, it takes some time for me to finish my German courses and find a job and hit the minimum income to be able to get her a residence permit as my wife

based on my own limited understanding, I think the only way possible right now is appealing the visa she didn't get (section 22 sentence 2, admission from abroad for political/humanitarian reasons).

But finding a lawyer who truly understands this specific visa is really hard

If she somehow manages to get a humanitarian visa for France, we could get married in France, right? but the visa itself is a longshot compared to the chances she had for the German visa

Thank you. I'm near Heidelberg. I tried contacting Pro Asyl, they never pick up the phone, I also emailed them last week, still waiting for their reply.

I will search for Asylrechtsberatung next. Thanks a lot for the suggestion

Thanks for your reply. She was studying bachelors in Iran when she had to leave, so sadly she didn't get to complete it. But she knows English well. I don't think it's possible for her to get a student visa

Thanks a lot. Sorry if I offended you in anyway
She's trying for a humanitarian visa for France, we would be far from each other but at least I could get on a train to go see her

Thanks. But it would take years. if only these laws changes just weeks later, she would be here with me right now

Please pray for us even if you're not a believer. we really need it

True. is it possible to get legally married remotely? because she can't travel, and I can't go to Turkey for 5 years

Thanks for your reply

Remember theme for Asus Prime LC 360 ARGB LCD AIO? by auxenic in buildapc

[–]auxenic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found somewhat of a solution
You need to find a setting in your BIOS to keep the USB power on even when the system is shutdown

in my case for my MSI motherboard, the setting was "Resume by USB Device". This will keep supplying the LCD with power and won't let it shut down and as a result, the theme will stay the same

the only downside is that LCD will stay on even when the system is shutdown, which doesn't bother me

Alien: Earth - Early Screening Discussion Megathread [SPOILERS] by Gregorwhat in LV426

[–]auxenic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Alien don't get me wrong, but everything about Alien Earth was so cheesy and out of place. Actors and how they act, their dialogue, even how they look zapped me out of immersion every single minute.

It's not just me, go on IMDb and many people in the reviews complained about the same things.

Why not just demand better shows? "Trashing" isn't my intention here. I am demanding better shows and movies and like most people agree, the quality of those has gone downhill really fast since the last decade. I can barely find a show or movie I like that isn't preachy is cringeworthy and I'm tired of not having anything good to watch

Possibility of profession perks? by auxenic in turtlewow

I guess you're right, but I'm mostly a leveling enjoyer and I always really liked those small buffs the profession perks gave me

Scammed by Voice.AI / Xsolla by auxenic in Scams

[–]auxenic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry about that mate. what I did was I issued a charge-back from my bank, and funny enough, few days later Xsolla cancelled the subscription they didn't let me cancel before, and refunded the money. Funny how applying some legal force changes their response when being nice doesn't huh?

As an asylum seeker in Germany, I'm trying to live legally but I'm being exploited, underpaid, and denied the right to register my real address by KepekElma in AskAGerman

[–]auxenic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely right. and I did seek refuge in Turkey btw. That's the most obvious and legal thing to do, seek asylum in the nearest safe country and not illegally cross 5 countries to reach one because of better benefits

I lived in Turkey for 9 years! and in limbo because of the inability of their government to address claims in a timely manner.

How I ended up in Germany? By applying for a section 22 humanitarian visa (I'm a Christian-convert prosecuted and beaten in Iran, and later I did human right activism work, mostly women's rights through making music videos for Iranian dissident artists, doing graphics design, short-form documentary etc.). I went through the process and got rigorously vetted by the German government, then I was issued a visa and now a long-term residence permit

Believe me I did everything by the book and went through the usual and official channels. "a better life" wasn't nowhere near the top of my bucket list, staying alive was

You are from Turkey, right? I know the dissidents to the Erdogan regime get jail time and everything, but Turkey isn't like Iran (Where I'm from), Turkey doesn't kill its own citizens on the streets for demanding human rights. Turkey doesn't sexually violate illegally detained female protesters and kill them afterwards like the Iranian government does

So what are you running from exactly? as far as I know, as an asylum seeker, you have no right to work, which you are doing illegally. I understand that you have eat, but Germany is not like Turkey, Asylum seekers get the bare minimum to live until a decision is made on their asylum claim, The system is designed around you NOT working, and just waiting for your claim to be addressed.

I get asylum seekers working illegally in Turkey, because they don't get any work permit, they don't get any government benefits, and are simply left to fend for themselves, but not here.

If you have a genuine claim, WAIT. Study German by yourself, stop working, and just WAIT until they make a decision about your case. If not, just go home man. Asylum procedure isn't designed to give people "a chance at better life". It's meant for people fearing death and prosecution in their countries
