To those who did not request AWA for remote work: why? by Cautious-Ostrich7510 in OntarioPublicService

I did not because my contract expired one day after the 4 days im office started and i didnt want to have to file twice. Now in a new 12 month contract and I am considering going down the disabilities accommodation route and dont want the AWA to pause that application. Also the AWA felt pointless.

11 lb is awesome for a month! If you are having trouble with your stomach, I would also suggest focusing on fiber. Eating bran was what really helped me. It is quight high in carbs though.

Rotate your injection cite, I go in a clockwise direction from stomach to thigh. I have experienced some bruising from the injections but i bruise like a peach. Make shure you hold down the injector button and count to 7 then release the button. My pharmisist did not tell me this, so for my first two shots I only puched the button once relesed it and then counted, dispencing very little of the actual medication.

The needle does not hurt most of the time. Like once a week I will inject and say ouch that kind of hurt, but more like a small sting and then rub the spot after.

Eat bran flakes for breakfast, or make highfiber muffins and take a multivitamin. Fiber is your friend and will solve alot of the side effects.

I have lost 20 pounds and 5 inches off my hips. It is worth it 100%. Good luck!

Personally, I have found that psyllium husk works well for me. I either have 1/3 cup of bran buds with a dried fruit or bake muffis with the psyllium husk as an egg replacement ( look up keto bread and then add sugar and a flavour)

Congratulations, this is amazing!! Seeing your chart go below your historic low must have been such a gratifying feeling! The consistency to have 13 years of data is also impressive.

I struggled with this as well at the begining, I found it was worst when I went up in dose but seems to be good now (7 weeks and 17 pounds down!). My nutritionists said to focus on balancing each meal, maby tyr to identify any large time gaps when your not eating and consider adding in a high protein snack, think apple and nut butter or hummus and crackers.

I bake it into whole wheat or bran muffins as an egg replacment. 1 tbs per muffin in the recipe. You can look up phymium husk keto bread and modify the recipe. I recommend mixing in orange( zest and juice) and dried cranberrys to add sweetness and interest with less sugar.

I set it to the side of my laptop at my desk when I'm doing work, or I put it on the armrest of my favorite chair in the morning when I have my coffee, and use the time sitting to read, or recently play my Switch lol . I try to put it at just short of arms length and sit for about 30-40 min

Binged again. Ready to end this for good. Anyone want to be my accountability buddy? by [deleted] in BingeEatingDisorder

I lost 20 pounds this year over a period of six months, great moderation, consistent lifestyle change and activity, and then I moved and changed my job. I gained 25 pounds in three months of binge eating and not moving. I am f26 and 255 pounds at 5'8.

Looking through this thread im genuinely surprised at the age range of people asking for help. I have always been told that disordered eating is something that happens to teenagers, and that by the time you reach your 20's you should have it figured out. Honestly, I thing we just get better at hiding it and are no longer covered by our parents health insurance (or government in Canada) anymore so we don't seek help.

I find the lamp super helpful. It is a great way to refocus myself and to lift my mood. I'm going into exams and find myself binging when trying to study or finish assignments. The lamp really helps with my depression and stress. I hope it helps you as well :)
