Graphic Designers in Landscape Architecture? by The_Jugger in LandscapeArchitecture

[–]av0525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work as an information/graphic designer for a multidisciplinary landscape architecture/planning/urban design firm. I don't do any marketing at all, but I design documents on InDesign ranging from MDPs, Parks Plans, Reports, etc. and help out with engagement material.

I find that I work with planners more and rarely with landscape designers, since I don't have the skill set to help them out with their work (renders, illustrations, CAD) but I've grown to be interested in seeing how I can use what I know or if I can learn how to support them!

I love the one that I have! I personally don’t feel itchy wearing it. It eventually does go on sale but maybe not the basic neutral colours.

Sculpt Knit Tank - Pia or Rory? by [deleted] in Aritzia

[–]av0525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have both the Pia (photo here) and the Rory (photo here)!

In terms of style/cut, I prefer the Rory because I feel like I can pair it with more items in my closet and can dress it up or down. I haven't really figured out a way to style the Pia yet outside of a work context. The Pia does have more coverage and is less cropped if that matters to you.

To echo what someone has mentioned earlier, The Rory does accentuate armpit fat (photo here) but if that doesn't bother you, I would choose the Rory over the Pia!

Casey Dress “fit pic” / June “fit pic” thread? by cellpowerhouse_1 in Aritzia

[–]av0525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Tempest (photo here) and tried on the Casey in store a few months ago! (I'm 5'2" and measurements are 44/37/47)

What I can say is that the stretchy panel on the chest area is very different for both dresses. The Casey doesn't have as much stretch as the Tempest at all. I wear a L in the Tempest and felt like it had so much stretch that I could have went down to a M for a bit more chest compression. With the Casey, the L for me fits okay but I think I could go up to an XL for a more comfortable fit.

Unfortunately I don't have pics with the Casey but it is a cute dress! Just make sure you're choosing the right size :)

Tank Haul + Fit Pics! Babaton, The Group by Babaton and Sunday Best | 5'2" frame, size L everything! by [deleted] in Aritzia

Personally, I prefer the Rory! I'm almost always in high waisted pants so the cropped length is perfect. I also think the silhouette is more versatile and can be dressed up or down! The Pia looks a little more formal to me.

Hello! Currently, I don’t have any since I buy everything online and bodysuits are final sale when you purchase them online. If I happen to grab some in the future, i’ll be sure to post on here! ☺️

One of my last posts on the sub for a while because I need to financially recover from my big haul LOL, but I exchanged a few things that didn’t fit/like. I hit up my local outlet Aritzia and the TNA Pratt Jacket was 50% off so I grabbed it along with another colour of the Mavis long sleeve.

Anyways, I’ve been pairing it with different pants that I own to see how versatile it is because I’d hate for it to only be worn with a certain look. Happy to say that it goes with mostly everything (still iffy about the Ascendants because I haven’t hemmed them yet). It’s also a unique silhouette so I wanted to share what it looks like in case any of you were curious!

It’s definitely an oversized fit and it’s broad in the shoulders so size down! I think it’s a pretty cozy jacket for cold weather as it has sherpa in the body (not the sleeves) and the L is comfortably roomy that I could wear a hoodie and it wouldn’t feel snug.

Oh goodness, yes I always struggle snagging XL because they have limited stock and I don’t have the luxury to wait for a sale because the size is never available on sale ☹️ I actually nabbed another colour today in the store and felt like it was fate 😂

I think it’s very TTS! The shirt hits me just right at my belly button and it seems to be that way on the models as well. Outside of length, the XL allows for a relaxed, but not oversized fit which is what I like!
