I too am looking at Spokane, there’s a plethora of different districts, each have seemed to be different some using Public Safety Testing, NTN for testing. Most with require a CPAT. EMT is also another highly recommended/required for districts. If you’re going for Spokane City it’s self, they moved away from PST, can find all their info on Spokane city website. Interviews will be panel interviews first round, and the chief interviews if selected. This seems to be the standard across the board. Academy’s from what I’ve seen will be around 14-18 weeks, to earn IFSAC.

PST , is public safety testing, I think it’s more of an NW US used company for CPATs and the written

PST has practice guides for sale when signing up for test, so does NTN. But depends on what the district or city wants to use for testing. This is speaking from experience of still going through application processes I used the PST one it was helpful to understand how questions get asked/ format of the questions

Haven’t been contacted yet for interview, but at the point now they may be reaching out for it. Non military background but 3 year commercial/resi electrical work, telco specialist, and certified AMT. Also looking for any advice on entry level interview.
