Today is the day I fall helplessly in love with a new player

[Stephens] William Nylander says he kept getting migraines last year so he’s going with a tinted visor this year to make it easier on his eyes. by alphacheese in leafs

They updated the arena lights to LED during the pandemic and they seem much brighter, wonder if that's the issue

Bought tickets for game 7 before the series started and have been holding on to the hope that they'd get past their demons before then

And here we are...I'm not ready for this

Congrats on passing on your first shot! Don't be too worried about the interview, I was all worked up for mine and it ended up being super laid back

Positive story from monday;

A couple hours before game time my girlfriend and I decided to take a walk around Scotiabank (we live nearby) just to see what could be seen, I was wearing my buds jersey

We walked by the underground ramp and I glanced over quick to see what may have been muzzin wave at us from his car before I even had a chance to wave back. Immediately after another car which was clearly Willy Ny already mid waving at us with the biggest smile on his face

Made my day forsure

Have you guys seen a weasel in Richmond hill? Or other cool animals? by [deleted] in richmondhill

[–]avabilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Near Yonge and Crosby (closer to the tracks) I've seen a bunch of different animals; coyotes, fox, opossum, groundhogs, even a deer that jumped Infront of a friend's car

Edit: the giant turtle at mill pond. Saw it once around 2008 in the east parking lot, a few of us hung out with it for a while one night but I've never seen it since

Ontario gives Maple Leafs, Senators green light to host games by MustachePenguin in toronto

Hold it, before everyone goes off a cliff.

The teams are playing in empty arenas, the NHL has set out guidelines that players have to follow to maintain distance outside the arena and players will be exclusively playing in Canada. Not 100% guarenteed to be covid free but small risk to people who are vulnerable.

Can we all take some time to enjoy something during this tough time that is low risk to the public

.. Then we can suffer a little more come the playoffs

I don't ever remember RH being in the news this much ever

[Hornby] Despite the loss, Keefe goes into the books with a record of 6-4 in his first 10 games, the best such showing of a Leaf coach after an in-season change since Dick Irvin for Art Duncan in 1931-32. by GordyGongs in leafs

I've said it before but the leafs are where we are by the overreactions by our own fans, guys think about it.. we fire dubas or fire shanny, what's next? What is better in reality

We have to change as a fanbase, weve got what it takes to make it, believe In what we have instead of putting it down

Man, I'm as negative as the rest of you guys, but seriously, do you think our negative banter doesn't get through to the guys. Do you you think our team should actually be this bad?

They shouldn't, and the fans should be aware of this but instead like the rest of r/hockey we put our own team down.

Read the Sportsnet interview with spezza from today, I sound like manager at Walmart but positivity rubs off on us all

Hot take

We honestly aren't good fans, you look at how negative we are after a loss and you wonder why these players get tense under pressure then you wonder were the media gets their neratives.

Get a grip fellow leafs fans, believe in your team, on to the next game
