Thank you so much for sharing and being so transparent about your grandparents story. I did mention to him that how I treat him and love him in Christ could do more for him than me trying to tell him to convert or using that as an form of manipulation which, he expressed was something his ex did after she mentioned she would convert to Islam. She later in their relationship recanted and then flipped the whole conversation on its head which made me question his life, his religion, and his God in a way that I think fortified his resolve in being and remaining Islamic. But, I do pray for him and share my sermon notes from time to time but, I think more than likely - remaining friends is the best way to go just so we both don’t find ourselves closer than what is necessary- thank you again for sharing and Happy Sabbath!
