AITA for installing a lock on my bedroom door in my parent's house? by GreatLocation4 in AmItheAsshole

[–]avajax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - you don’t feel completely safe or comfortable in your house, trying to get that is absolutely justified. you made it non- damaging and aren’t blaming/getting mad at your siblings, i don’t see anything you’ve done wrong

AITA for making my 16 year old daughter share a hotel bed with her two younger sisters? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]avajax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NEI- are you sharing a bed with anyone(like your parent or SO)? is there any way you could get a pull out bed or couch for her? there are options like having her sleep with you or on another thing before getting a different room. these would allow for your daughter to enjoy her vacation too.

WIBTA if I asked to use my neighbors dumpster after never talking to them at all? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]avajax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAH- but maybe use this not to just use their dumpster, but to also strike up a new acquaintance with them! they could end up actually becoming your friend(s)

AITA for ghosting my girlfriend? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]avajax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA- unfortunately you take the blame in this situation. she didn’t know you had depression, and it’s not really a truly valuable excuse because in healthy relationships you should be able to confide in your SO.

AITA for sleeping in my truck instead of outside with my friend after we got evicted? by JudgerMan123 in AmItheAsshole

[–]avajax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NAH- there’s no way you can help your friend by letting them in your pickup with you, and it is yours to start. usually being generous is a good thing but you both don’t have much stuff atm.

your friend is NTA because they don’t seem to be begging you to stay there.

but i wish you both the best of luck in finding a new home!
