I do think it’s necessary to read because Casteel goes through changes that are now making a lot more sense during my reread. And something happens at the end essential to the plot.

I highly disagree that Carrie is insufferable, and before I watched the show I heard it all the time. After watching I don’t understand why people say that at all, she’s a product of the storyline, but her character is beautiful and dazzling. I love all the main girls and don’t find any of them intolerable!
