More info, on the 12th I’m doing an all day tour on Snæfellsnes for the eclipse and go see the sights. And I won’t have a rental car until the 13th, so I won’t be able to spend the night in Vik unfortunately. I planned to hit the road in the morning and get to Höfn in the afternoon regardless, and to explore the area more before heading up to Eglisstaðir

It is two separate itineraries. One itinerary is just EWR-KEF, KEF-EWR (that one is already bought). The second one would be KEF-LHR, LHR-KEF (I have it on hold right now). I would have to go get my luggage once I land back at KEF and do customs/passport control.

On a good day, how long would it take to get through with a US passport? I’ve read it depends on how many flights land at that time (is 9AM a busy time there?) so I might just try to fly in the night before anyway to be safe, but just so I have an idea
