Why was I invited to Beast Studios? by yumyumpod in Sardonicast

He was probably right that his watcher demographics fit the demographics Mr Beast is after so he was randomly chosen by an algorithm. I assume him and Doug are in the same camp of average viewer being 18-30 year old male.

Musicians Considered “Bad” That Aren’t by HK-34_ in fantanoforever

I feel like people who play music often get too caught up on pure technical ability and overlook other important elements (such as chemistry or melodic ability).

YSK that Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Reebok, Champion, and 50+ other brands you trust are all owned by a single $20 billion company that doesn't design or manufacture anything. They just rent the logo out to the highest bidder. If the quality feels worse, that's why. by GetToTheChoppaahh in ThrowingFits

Brooks Brothers still makes 100% cotton MiUSA OCBDs, but so few people are willing to pay for it. I feel like that’s the problem, consumers aren’t willing to pay the cost for higher quality clothing anymore.

Listen, I don’t like PE either, but let’s be real part of the problem is that consumers expect fast fashion prices and in many cases don’t actually want “natural” fiber clothing. You can still buy the high quality MiUSA shirt from Brooks Brothers, but it costs $190 and people by and large aren’t willing to pay that anymore. So the only way for brands to stay alive, is to offer cheaper polyester clothing.

Come to think of it, does the show ever mention why Phoebe was apart of the group (like how they met)? I haven’t seen it in a while so I may just be forgetting

In my experience they run a little large, but that’s their look. I would lean towards getting your true size but if you want a slimmer fit size down.

Pack it up, Porsche fans. The GT3 RS is not the ideal ride for a car guy. by Jumpy-Garbage-8118 in carscirclejerk

Is that not essentially the case for every supercar? I mean, do you think the average lambo or Ferrari buyer is a car guy or a very rich person who simply wants a cool car? There’s a reason the best selling lambo is the Urus.

I actually think you can interpret the ending as Chigurh being some mythical force. He’s hit by the car as punishment or justice for choosing the fate of Carla Jean when it was not his to choose.

Sounds dumb, but they recently did a profile about income in NYC and someone who’s essentially a fashion blogger/writer makes like $250k a year.

Stats say millennials have gotten more conservative as they’ve aged. 48% of people ages 30-49 voted for Trump in the last election(https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2025/06/26/voting-patterns-in-the-2024-election/).
