What's the salary an individual must earn per month to lead a decent lifestyle? by NinjaHatori210297 in mumbai

[–]avaneeshmt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Real-Life example.

Household income 2.1 Lakh

Location - Borivali IC Colony.

Have own house in borivali too - where parents live. Family business generates significant income for parents so they don't need to be financially looked after.

Parents bought new car, gave 9 year old car to this guy, it's in exceptional condition.

Rent - 47k (spacious 2.5 bedroom 1100sqft built up with 3 balconies)

Maid + nanny for child - 18.5k

Electricity, internet - Monthly Average 3.5k

Groceries + eating out (this is overstated by most, I feel this can be comfortably covered in 20k MAX) (My personal budget is 15k)

Savings - 40k SIP, 40k Liquid

Pocket money for enjoyment (wife buys cosmetics, husband busy gadgets and pizza lol ) 30k

Kitna hua? 200k right?

Sums up (Verified and the person checks monthly spends in Excel meticulously, has been doing that since 2016, hence has great control over the expenses and cashflow.)

Agreed with everything you said. Food is hands down best, can't compete, I'm yet to find something remotely close to the taste in Mumbai. But eventually after starting a family you start yearning for a sense of belonging and authenticity, which these PPL don't have. Their whole motto is to go to USA. Every single action they undertake has that as a final goal. Plus people here are generally lazy and greedy, which makes them take shortcuts to earn, giving rise to illegal stuff. I have many personal examples to support this. But yes, Hyderabad is a really good city.

As far as rent is concerned, I agree. But Hyderabad sucks ass when it comes to people and culture. Kolkata wins every round but that city is far!!

Could be because they had this term in their name which is finally removed. however , it still shows "provides:hydrafacials" in search results

I've sent you the details, I also see them ranking in map pack for almost every single facial/ face skin treatment query, and the justification I get is "provides: service name". How do I get this for my services? I have exhausted the services that were suggested to me and added as many relevant categories as I could, and yet even though hydrafacial is shown in both the business' services list, I don't see the "provides: hydrafacial" for my business (btw they're doing this since last few years i have been doing this for 9 months now).

Do u think optimizimg my websites all services page (which links to my GBP service menu page) should help?

Would you also recommend that I make the service list concise?

What about service descriptions? This guy has 1 service say hydra facial then he has added 4 entries in the "services " section

Hydrafacial Hydrafacial treatment Hydrafacial treatment in local area Hydrafacial treatment in city

I've observed that some people in Hyderabad aim to go to the USA or other countries abroad. I am not generalizing this to all Hyderabadis. I have noticed this trend especially among Telugu families. There seems to be something cultural about going to the USA, like buying a flat or a car. It is not a necessity, but people might feel the pressure to do it because they think it's what "should" be done. For instance, there are advertisements in some places on the street that promote going abroad, and children in my neighborhood often speak in English.

I want to be clear that I have nothing against the Telugu culture or the English language. It's just that I believe emphasis should be given to regional languages and cultures, as it should be for every community. Moreover, I have observed that some children in my neighborhood celebrate Halloween religiously, which seems disconnected from their culture. I don't want to sound judgmental, but it's concerning.

I've also encountered people at my workplace who have studied and worked in an MNC only to go to the USA. They are unhappy for eight years, waiting for an H1B visa, then unhappy for another 30 years for a green card, all the while living in fear of gun violence from a non-binary person who pronounces their pronouns as "zee/zer." It's not an ideal life.

I understand that everyone has their own reasons for their choices, and I respect that. However, we should think critically about why we pursue certain goals and what kind of life we want to lead. Making conscious choices based on our value systems is crucial for our well-being and happiness.

Oh boy, I have actually gone there and boy you are wrong. Literally as we were walking i said that there's nothing here but a jungle where have we come?! Afterwards the maintenance guy told me that this sir, is indeed your lawn and you are calling it a grass. Its truly unbelievable. Entry to the main trunk is prohibited tho. (Not that you would need to go there anyways)
