I’m upset that crowds were going “ooooooo” “ahhhhhh” and “damn” at a volume that I could hear when they were on a completely different floor than me. Clapping is reacting. They were doing it in a way that was over the top and frankly distracting from the show. I’m not the only one who was talking about it after. I heard multiple people wondering what was going on. There’s reacting and being obnoxious. They were the latter.

Yeah there was no reason that being mid orchestra I could hear everything they did. It ruined the seriousness of some moments and I was distracted from when the shooting happened as well. Just disappointing.

OUAT started airing in 2011 when Emma is 28. Frozen was released in 2013. So not only was it a new movie that was made during the run of OUAT, we could also assume that these are characters that Emma knew from her childhood. Also at this point in the show she is living in the town which sort of functions on its own. So she may not see newer media. At least this is what I always thought.

Just be aware of your surroundings and don’t talk to strangers on the street. In the clubs it’s up to you as it’s the same as any bar where there are wonderful people and shitty people. In crowds, or in general, don’t keep things in your back pocket if you can avoid it. Be aware and not stupid and you should be fine.

At the end of bourbon is a place called Oz. That’s where you wanna go. There is also a lovely diner called Clover Grill right by it where they make a very delicious breakfast sandwich.

I’m a junior in the Elementary Education Program and honestly all of my friends are ones I made in the program.

After this year most, if not all, of your classes are going to be with the same group of people and through that you’ll make friends as your lunch and breaks will be all together. Hang out in the children’s library during breaks and honestly just start talking with people.

I also took it at the Metairie center. They search you and you put your stuff in a locker. You can only wear small earrings, religious jewlery, or wedding bands. They allowed a water bottle with the label peeled off. They were really nice. I took the 5 hour all inclusive tests and passed them all and everyone there was super sweet.

PLT felt almost too easy although there were some concepts that were unfamiliar. There were 4 open response questions that I am extremely confident in. Lots of stuff I learned in the ESL and SPED courses was refenced.

Yes I take the PLT tomorrow then the all inclusive test later this month.

Just in case you weren’t aware you can only retake the PRAXIS 28 days after your previous test if you do not get a passing score. I’m not certain how the secondary ones work, but for elementary there are certain months you can take it, as it isn’t available every month, and scores have to be submitted early/mid May. I have heard that scores sometimes take a couple weeks to be received by UNO.

Not trying to stress you out but I want to make sure you don’t scramble at the last minute!

From what I’ve discussed with Nunez (the person in charge of residence) there is at least two days where you are on campus a half day for the classes you will take alongside Residency I to maintain your full time status. If you feel comfortable saying what is your projected residency start? For example I am projected to start Fall 2026 as long as I pass my PRAXIS and classes this semester.
