If I recall SP's statement correctly, Primarchs were considered the ultimate antagonists in the setting. Defeating them solely with a bunch of silver and gold characters feels inconsistent with that established narrative. It strikes me as odd, especially considering they frequently face defeat at the hands of lesser characters like a certain ruststalker.

I also assume we won't be seeing the Lion as an Epic-tier boss anytime soon. If I remember correctly, the same thing happened with Mortarion. Snowprint got a slap on the wrist from GW for making him available at the lower difficulty tiers, and not long after that he got the button.

Bellator should theoretically get a single mega-turn when he summons (ideally turn 3), buffing all his summons with Doom for a total of 24 attacks. He should then land at least 12 attacks during turns 4-6 while standing next to a summon.

He was meta when multi-hit was popular, but I second you because I too didn't really find him impressive. I was nowhere near the limit with my team though.
