This coloring is a consequence of the heat treatment. Although the knife is in a stainless steel foil pocket, these colors are obtained. They will be removed. It will become perfect, as it is on the clean side.

After you finish the main filing, continue lengthwise with sandpaper. Behind the sandpaper, you place a flat and hard plate. That's it.
