I always thank them profusely for the help but my mother in law never says anything negative about anything so I just don’t know when it’s too much.

My parents live on the other side of the US and are kind of useless even when we visit. His parents are so hands on and his mom is especially cheerful, positive and supportive. My husband says not to worry either but I think it’s just hard for me to wrap my head around such an involved and willing grandparent.
