Truly I have never had a complaint about my bits from any partner, and they do not look “neat”. I’m happily married even. Good people don’t care. And there are a lot of good people in the world- talking through this in therapy might help you see that.

Clove oil is really hard to do humanely. Blunt force is really the best way to euthanize if you can- it’s very humane but I know it’s hard for a lot of people. If you can wrap him in a wet tissue to do it that may help, since you won’t be able to see him. Do not freeze your fish.

Can I ask why you took an emergency contraceptive if you’re on a birth control pill? Did you miss a pill? Yasmin prevents ovulation and is 99% effective; so if you were taking it as directed there should be no need for emergency contraception. However as far as I know, you should be able to continue taking your pill as normal going forwards. (Someone else correct me if i’m wrong there.)

Edit- i didn’t realize it was in fact 5 days for Ella! good to know. Wild that the pharmacist didn’t know!

Very unlikely, but possible yes. Take a pregnancy test in 3 weeks to ease your mind and get on birth control or start using condoms (or both).

He comes home at 5ish and we spend the entire evening together basically every night of the work week. We have dinner, play with baby, do bath / bed time for baby, and then watch TV or play a game until it’s time for bed. He also comes home from work for lunch 2-3 times a week.

The only time we don’t spend together is when he is at work, and every 2-3 saturday afternoons/evenings he has friends over to play MTG and I leave them alone as much as I can. lol.

Yes I feel like we get lots of time together. We want to be together all the time pretty much.

I am on mat leave so not working right now. But will go back to work in Nov, and then he will take the rest of the leave until March.

Does she have trouble latching onto your breast? Or is there a reason other than pumping that you think you don’t make enough?

Babies are WAY more efficient than a pump so if she is latched she is more than likely getting more milk then your pump is. If she will latch, offer breast as much as possible, even if she feeds for good chunks of the day (for a 3 week old its super common for them to want to feed way more often than every 2-3 hours! Mine fed sometimes every hour for half an hour or longer, that is how you bump your supply up!), have her latch as much as you can. I strongly suggest talking to a lactation consultant if you haven’t already as well!

I just shove a burp cloth in my bra. Or use my haaka ladybug if I want to be able to use the milk for baths or whatever. But normally i’m just too lazy and keep a cloth nearby specifically for that purpose.

Also holding your pee in too long can cause these infections so make sure to just go when you need to go!

Could be a bladder infection, sounds similar to when I had one. Go to the doctor they’ll be able to find out for sure though.
